Jammer dat dit restaurant nog niet meer beoordelingen heeft, en dat die ene negatieve beoordeling uit oktober 2018 over muziek gaat, want met een 18e plaats in Almhult op de TripAdvisorlijst lijkt het of je deze tent beter kunt mijden. Niets is minder waar. We namen een Caesar salade (9 euro), spaghetti bolognese (10 euro), pizza Hawaï en pizza salami (7,50 euro) met daarbij de nodige drankjes. De salade met croutons, kip, sla, tomaat, komkommer en dressing was een ruime portie die goed smaakte. Ook de spaghetti en de pizza’s waren voldoende groot en uitstekend bereid hoewel de groene olijven iets te zout waren. De bediening is correct en om de tijd te doden kregen we gratis witte koolsalade met een dressing. We zaten in de serre die goed is onderhouden (schoon). Er is voldoende parking naast het restaurant en er is een ruim toilet voor rolstoelgebruikers. We rekenden voor vier personen iets meer dan 50 euro af (inclusief 6 drankjes).

Ate here yesterday. For once it felt nice because there weren't so many people yet - this being the first week of 2018. The food was ok. No changes. I didn't like that they keep the vegetarian and fish sushi together. Usually their vegetarian rice is nicely made and i usually like their place more than the other Thai place which seems more oily to me.

Nice and fresh ambience of restaurant, relatively prompt service. You can chose from limited western cuisine offer of burger with fries , Vegetarian meal, salat or steak . Few choices of draft beer and wine . I was with my burger at the end of the day.

Delightful lunch after a round of golf. We are in the area pretty often and finding a decent place to eat out is a challenge. Having dined couple times at Brasserie Goaroije (in Älmhult town centre), which we like very much, we decided to try their place out at the golf club. You pick your meal from a list on a board and get a ticket, then it is delivered to your table.There are 4-5 selections to choose from and you get water, a side salad and coffee included in the price. They also had rhubarb water (also included in the price) which was delicious, probably made from the rhubarb they are growing in their small kitchen garden outside the restaurant. They also have other drinks such as beer, wine etc. I had a dessert of rhubarb panacotta which was lovely.The restaurant was very busy at 1230, probably local business people having lunch but a bit later around 1.30pm it was much quieter and we could sit outside in the sun, we were very lucky to have great weather. The price was very reasonable too. The restaurant looks like it is a converted barn.

We got here because other restaurants were closerd on Monday. what a pity after a great kajak tour on Helge å. We ordered Parma Pizza... if you use conventional ingredients it ends like this. no taste! sorry... no recommendation.

Goaroije is a hidden pearl in Älmhult. Nothing prestigious about the outside nor inside, but the tastes were absolutely fantastic. Tasty, fresh, light and delicious. We had the risotto with delicious mushrooms combined with tasty lamb. That it was Barolo week sold by the glass was just smart. A highly recommendable place. Book a table and try!
