After some confusion we were seated, without being able to choose which table, my view was of the adjacent car park. It was impossible to read the menu without the light of our phones, we did note another table were brought a light for the table but this wasnât offered to us. I ordered a salmon dish, the salmon was lovely but the accompanying mash was too sweet (with honey maybe?) My husband had the cod in black ink batter, not appetising to look at but the cod was tasty. There was music playing but it wasnât what I expected for a lively bar. A little disappointed all-in-all and wouldnât return. Reserved a table outside for a family of 8 and the Karatello Tavern did not disappoint. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent and the price, whilst higher than your average restaurant, was good value. Stop by for eating in evening. my wife take pasta and i eat pork souvlaki. Portions was big, low price and look nice but all spices seems forgotten for chefs. If you want tasty food don't bother.

Very pleasant garden setting with casual and trendy decor. The service was friendly and efficient, the food is a combination of traditional Cypriot dishes with imagination and variety. The whole experience is very pleasant and casual and definitely I will go there again and again and I gladly recommend it as a night out during the summer months.

My favourite restaurant in the area (but still mourning the closure of Il Gustoâs at Aki). Fabulous food and such a warm welcome from John and staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble - John is the perfect front of house and deserves his success. Restaurant is always busy but standards never slip. Visited for a meal the other evening and was very pleasantly surprised. We all had the pie and chips and it was delicious.The staff were very nice and helpful . It was not an expensive meal . Would certainly recommend and will probably visit again.

Though Ryan's restaurant was always a must for a steak meal, I was frustrated with the meal we had with friends on Saturday evening the 16th of February 2019. Low quality of meat, jacket potatoes were cold and the plate was completed with plain boiled carrots and peas.
