Been here dozens of times - I do a short season with groups in Adelboden and this is one of my favourites - I have had drink stops here, lunches and an evening meal - always good.Thank you very much for your feedback!

The food is not as good as at the Cambrian and they do seem to like sauces for the main courses. However it all tasted good, the service was very good and the starters really enjoyable especially the smoked fish

After a drive on a small lane, I arrived between lunch and dinner. In order to shelter from the thunderstorm, I dropped in.Beautiful vernacular architecture, sunburnt wooden facade, a nice ambience.The host was hospitable and talkative, interested in the coming and going of his guests.The price level is moderate, I believe.I only had coffee and instantly left after the thunderstorm.

We went for a walk and found this Restaurant with nice view of the mountains and a very fine menu. We decided to go in and have Dinner. The Service was very friendly and the food was Excellent. I would go there again and even stay at this Hotel since it was very nice and clean.

Firstly, I was shocked to read other peoples reviews and to hear that the owner and waitress werent friendly. The opposite was true. The waitress was absolutely lovely, helpful, attentive and made sure we had a great dining experience. The manager didnt speak much English but was concentrating enough to make sure that as vegetarians we were almost served a dish with meat in it. The food itself was excellent as well and the price was very affordable for this part of the world. We will definitely be back - tonight in fact!

I stopped for lunch at this restaurant for the nice terrasse offering a stunning view on the mountains around Adelboden. I did the right choice ordering the vegetarian burger with rosti sticks, it was very tasty and big enough for me. Anyway, they have a wide menu meeting any request. Service was quick, staff was prompt and friendly.

If you want to the âmountains vibeâ thatâs the place to go. Charming and cosy offers delightful dinner options (like the beef stew)... if you just want to pop in for a drink, go for local amber beer! Enjoy

Very glad to have found this restaurant. The decor is modern and clean, alpine chalet style but not kitsch. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was gracious and friendly, and English is spoken. Highly recommended when in Adelboden.

We went there based on the reviews by Tripadvisior and were certainly pleased with our overall experience. All the fish were fresh, yummy and nicely presented. The salads were tasty. The restaurant setting was quite cute on the edge of a tiny lake. Our server Tommy was extremely nice, cheerful and helpful. The flies were in abundance and were very irritating but I guess there was very little the restaurant could do about it. It seemed that the other customers who were probably locals were used to them and were not overly bothered by them.The reason I took away one star was because they charged us extra on a few things .. the fries came with a couple of dishes as sides but they still charged us $9 and $6 for 2 portions. They charged us $6 for a side salad which again was supposed to be a side dish. They charged us a bit extra for drinks and then charged us $4 each for 4 glasses of hot tap water at the end of our dinner. We were also charged for drinking tap water which came in the beginning of our dinner. In most of the restaurants in Switzerland they donât charge you for tap water as long as you are ordering regular drinks. A bill which should have been around Fr 630 came to Fr 682. I questioned the server but did not get a satisfactory reply so I paid the 682 Fr as I did not want to spoil our otherwise wonderful dinner evening. All in all a good restaurant.

Great spot as far as location. I came here based on the 3 top reviews and I was a little disappointed. With such a menu, gourmet basically, Iâd expect to get some kind of delicious butter spread for the bread served in a brown bag. Iâm not sure if the waitress was new but knowledge of such exotic foods is a must. I had so many questions about the menu and she just couldnât answer them. We ended up with a appetizer and sandwiches which were great but not usually our choice. She was a very nice lady and tried her best. Dear customerThank you for your review.
