Located in Milton Park, just off of the A34 Milton interchange. Contemporary and elegant with friendly staff providing excellent home cooked food and assorted catering services. Whether your business is looking to entertain clients, hold a lunch meeting o
This is a regular for me as it based across the road from where I work. The food is very good, they also have specials. The main courses don't go above £12. Portions are of a good size and cooked from scratch. Probably the best place to eat in the area for lunch. Recommend the super food salad and the enchiladas - around £8

Came in for a family lunch with our toddlers. As we'd heard, the outside is amazing. Great fun setup for little kids, loads of space to play all the way down to the river. They have a bouncy castle which a lot of kids loved, but it was pretty close to the gravel car park with not much of a fence in the way. Wouldn't feel comfortable letting a 5 year old play here without pretty close supervision, between the car park and the river. It's not a fully-enclosed play/eating area like you see in some other pubs, like the George+Dragon in Upton.Staff were friendly, even the barman who accused me of jumping the queue. I'd just gone around to the back bar, which was open, because all I wanted was to refill a glass of water. Maybe queue-jumping? Not sure. But is was pretty funny, and a slightly grumpy barman is part of what you pay for in a place like this. (I have hearing problems so I might have misheard him.)So I'd definitely come here with the kids again. The food quality was pretty average, just standard pub food. Happily ate it, but not much better than what you could cook at home. It was...fine. Better than Wetherspoon's or whatever, but definitely not gastropub, especially by the standards of this area. Nice beer.I felt every dish was overpriced by about £2-£3, meaning the final bill left a nasty taste in the mouth. So it's cheaper than soft play, but I wouldn't come here for food with just adults.Thank you! Sorry you felt that way about the food?! We are completely independent so we price our product accordingly. I am very keen on adults supervising their children closely especially if the guardians are consuming alcohol. (Although I have liability insurance Iâd rather not have to use it!) maybe next time you pop in take a look at our specials menu? Also, my staff are always friendly and happy to help and always operate on a queue system whether you are paying for a drink or having some tap water. Please introduce yourself next time, weâll see if we can improve your experience

Open all day from 7am Monday to Friday and on Sunday, and from 8am on Saturday, we serve a seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean flavours. Within our open kitchen our chefs prepare dishes made using quality produce, traceable from farm to fork. Our meat
We met in the bar across the courtyard for a drink before dinner. Friendly service and reasonable beer choice, although the layout/ambience seemed slightly lacking. In the restaurant we received excellent, friendly and attentive service. The Waitress suggested a wine, which we tasted along with our choice and changed to, without being charged for both bottles. This was much appreciated. The menu had a wide variety of choice, with a number of gluten free options. Presentation of the meals was good. The quality/taste of the various dishes was a little variable amongst our table of six. The belly of pork was excellent, the fish and pizza was good, although the pizza looked a little sparsely populated with toppings. The chicken burger was okay, but a bit dry and reliant on the spice coating. It was good to have the kitchen connected to the restaurant. Seeing the chefs cooking added to the ambience.I think that with just a little improvement on a few of the dishes, it would be a definite five star rating.Overall we thought it was good value and had a very pleasant evening, so would return.Thank you for such a lovely 4 star review and letting us know what we can do to improve! It is great to hear you all enjoyed your experience and food with us and that you loved the wide range of our menu. Our pizza has specific measurements of toppings to guarantee the dough to be cooked throughout fully and for all authentic Neapolitan flavours to be balanced. We hope you visit us again soon!Kindest Regards,Yvette

We booked four tables for the night before our daughters wedding, eight to ten people per table, booking a month in advance. Arrived at 19:00 for 19:15.Orders taken quickly, first two tables served starters and mains, we had a one year old with us, asked if she could have her dinner first due to her age, waitress said she could not but we could have some bread for her, after forty five minutes enquired where our food was, as the table behind us had now been served. We were told they were short staffed and the chef had a bad knee! Although we had seen people arrive in other parts to eat who had been fed and left.Eventually the family with the baby left at 21:30, no food for baby but fish and chips put in a pizza box for them. Our food, four duck salads, two fish and chips and one liver eventually arrived at 21:45.When I asked the waitress if the chips I had were their âhand cut chipsâ as advertised she said no, is that a problem? Of course itâs supposed to have hand cut chips. When I said I would speak to the manageress she said âI bet you willâ.We have eaten here on numerous times over the past three years on the run up to the wedding, thatâs why on this special occasion we took forty people here, we made a big mistake.
