This was the first restaurant we tried in Cattolica. We chose it because we observed that people were eating cozze and we had decided to eat that during our stay. So we had cozze and white wine and we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was crowded but the service was ok.

The night we went was particularly busy and we hadn't booked so we were expecting a wait. In the end though we were there for 2 and half hours for two courses. My husband and uncles mains came out and they had finished before mine came out. It was raw inside so I couldn't eat it. I think they had forgotten my meal and then tried to get it out me in a rush. I would have preferred honesty. In the end they took my meal off the bill and I went home hungry. There were a few other tables complaining too unfortunately which is a shame because the starters were lovely and the restaurant has a lovely decor and friendly front of house staff

We visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times during our ten day stay in this area, trying various foods- pizza, pasta and steak. All were lovely, and the fillet steak was particularly great as well as very reasonably priced. It comes with a pepper sauce all over it, which I didn't mind, but if you're not sure, ask for it on the side! The local red wine is also a delight and half the price of a decent bottle back in the UK.

Osteria con cucina di pesce. Serviamo piatti della tradizione romagnola ma anche ricette moderne. Ambiente informale e accogliente. Carta dei vini con particolare attenzione ad etichette locali.
This use to be one of our favorite restaurants to go to for fish. But, unfortunately this year, the food didn't hold up to the same standards as before and we were a bit disappointed. The restaurant is still lively and inviting, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The dishes just weren't as tasty and perhaps the experience was a bit too "commercial".

Locale a gestione familiare con un giardino interno per l'estate non mancano mai sorriso disponibilita e voglia di fare...
This was the second stop on our November Cattolica trip. L'Anfora was recommended by the hotel reception where we were staying. Good impression from the outside and quite busy with couples and family groupes. After we had been brought to our table, it was only a couple of minutes and the restaurant manager was there to take our order. We had used the italian language as best we could and the manager spoke carefully and slowly so that we could understand his explanation of several items on the menu. The drinks came quickly and we were all set for a nice evening. It did also not take too long until my wife's meal arrived. Then we waited. Very unusual for Italy. And we waited while my wife's meal got cooler. Then my vegetables arrived. And we waited. After several minutes, my wife had started her meal, the manager, having noticed our predicament, sent a waiter over who explained that it would take some minutes before my lamb was ready. Here I gave him the vegetables and asked him to keep them warm. Some minutes later the whole meal arrived, my wife had already eaten half her meal and our evening was already destroyed. My wife's meal was a local pasta speciality: not tasty, with a strange consistency. My meal was now part cool, part burnt and partly missed flavour. We must have hit a bad night. It is also frustrating when you try your best to speak their language and the waiter (not the manager) insists on using his not much better, or even worse, English.

I've eaten here two times. A piadina with tuna and tomatoes and one with prosciutto rucola and mozarella. Both were really good, also the service was great. They were very friendly.

We were staying at a hotel in via Ferrara and this place was always full lunch and dinner, popular with locals and tourists alike. The piadine were excellent but they also have homemade lasagne and other dishes to keep everyone happy.
