A local bar with lots of 20 somethings getting ready to go out for the night! Nice drinks, fun atmosphere.

This restaurant has been in Otavalo for about 10 years, but has gotten better, new managers. I eat there alot. It is a large and very clean place and now there are about half locals and half tourists who eat in the place. A 5 course lunch (include large s
In town with a tour group and half of us walked in for lunch. Very good menu of varied and delicious local items. I thoroughly enjoyed a shrimp stuffed avocado. Very delicious and couldn't have been fresher. Wish I lived closer to this place! Also had wifi!

Great food, reasonable price!
Everything we had was nicely presented yet overcooked and or cold. Pork on Plato tipico was cooked to table shaking toughness. It honestly seemed left over from previous day and rewarmed. Mashed potato cakes which are delicious when hot I'm told, were stone cold. Cheese soup reported as excellent however. Clean attractive place for tours groups no doubt, but Zero effort to make food do anything more than look nice when set before you.

During my 5 day stay in Otavalo last March I had dinner here on a number of occasions. This place has atmosphere !!! I want to pay tribute to Marco who served me each evening-a very friendly and professional person....The food was excellent and served promptly. As this restaurant is centrally located-near Plaza Bolivar and a short distance from Plaza de Ponchos-it is well worth a visit....Only problem is that it closes-as expected-at 4 pm on Sundays....great place to eat at....10 out of 10.

Outside of Otavalo, Hacienda Pinsaqui is a lovely 18th-century manor house. It is a hotel and restaurant, which typically serves open dinners and lunches by appointment. The food is very good, especially the local pork platter. The prices are a bit high, since they exclusively cater to tourists. However, we were never disappointed with a meal here during our stay in the hotel. The bar is amazing too, one of the coolest that I've ever seen. I strongly recommend visiting!

Part of the Hacienda Cusin in Otavalo
We visited this amazing hacienda for breakfast on Monday. Not only was the food amazing, the property is breathtaking! Walking into the main building is like stepping back 100 years in time! We spent over two hours here! We enjoyed well prepared scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and pancakes. The homemade strawberry jam is not to be missed! Pricing is extremely reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We met the owner, Nick whom is quite entertaining! We could have chatted with him all day!!We spent a good amount of time exploring the grounds after our meal, which I highly reccomend. The gardens are intoxicating! They even have llamas on the grounds! You'll most assuradly want to plan on at least two hours visiting Hacienda Cusin for dining and exploring...NOT to be missed!

A very decent and beautiful restaurant (in terms of exterior, interior, atmosphere and location). Took a taxi for USD5 from Otavalo city centre. Setting is so nice next to the lake, with swings and a small piece of grassland with alpacas nearby. The food is traditional Ecuador. But I didn't fine food yummy here. I ordered a chef traditional mix with chicken. It looks good but not tasty at all. The chicken cubes are chewy and dry. Overall once is enough, just for the views. I gave 4 rating basically for the atmosphere.

La tradicion de comer rico y sano. The best ecuadorian food.
Fritadas AmazonasIt is an exceptional place to visit, the interior is very pleasant spacious especially the comfort of the chairs, has a typical and familiar atmosphere, ideal to go with family friends or co-workers, offering a little varied menu (fries, typical dish Of the Ecuadorian sierra that consists of pig meat, steamed potatoes, mote type corn and roasted) but of a very good flavor. The service is very good, the weekends are usually very crowded, they do not have craft beer but if chicha is very rich by the way, the prices seem to me not very expensive. We went with the family back from Ibarra to San Lorenzo and we were all satisfied. The meat is very well prepared and the various companions were very good, they have a rich seasoning for the pieces of pork with good corn cobs a rich chili and a shale fresh cow's milk cheese a formidable attention. An excellent place to eat and relax with family, if you visit Ibarra do not miss going to this place, you will be completely satisfied and looking forward to returning to this place.
