Things to do in Waltham Abbey

Ordered a take away and I was very impressed with the food. We had a variety of meat and fish dishes, along with rice and bread. The only downside was with the king prawn tikka masala. £10.95 and only 3 prawns. I would have expected more considering the cost. Would use again but stick to meat dishes.

We have been eating here and ordering takeaways for the 10 years we have lived in Waltham Abbey. Always been happy with delivery times and quality of food. Not sure what's happened recently, but we waited nearly 2 hours for our food to be delivered, which is really unusual. Called a couple of times to be told it was on its way and would be with us in 15 minutes. Finally arrived, along with a free bottle of wine and a dessert which sadly didn't placate us much! And then, as I was tucking into my chicken biryani, I found a huge spike bone (shaped like a wish bone)Fully understand that small bones may slip past the chef, but this was not small! Very dangerous and put me off the rest of my dinner.I'd like to think these 2 things were one offs. But loathe to risk it.They also don't take credit cards for payment for deliveries, which they did, before all the changes that have taken place over the last few months...........

We were a party of six and was looking forward to coming here again to eat some really good indian dishes and once again,we were not disappointed. On arrival,we was warmly welcomed and shown to a nice comfortable table which gave plenty of room for us all. This time, I chose the Achari lamb dish which is pieces of lamb cooked with hot pickles and it was really good and not to much heat. We all chose different dishes from the large menu and there was no complaints from anyone.
