I got something else than what I ordered, told the waiter about it, and he brought the original order. I thought it was solved like this, but at the end they charged me for both, and when I told them it's not okay, they just shrugged.

The best gullas ever. Very good local food and drinks. To bad the pickles are not as good as they look.
What to do and see in Praid, Romania: The Best Places and Tips
This is a small restaurant on the main walking street with some tables in front as well. The menu had a bit of everything pizza, pasta, soups, meat dishes, dessert. I had only a soup, it was good. The prices were decent compared to the restaurants close to Bear Lake.
Fast service but somehow messy. We receive the soup, then, after we ask them, the spoons and after another asking, the bread.French onion soup it was something tasty but it had no connection with the name.It was very noisy, the clients smoke cigars near our table, they had a playground for kids and this adds another layer of noise, also they had very loud music (live or recorded). So not the best ambient but the meal was tasty.

We were for 6 days in Sovata. After trying few restaurants without success we decided to ask the local people for good places where to eat. Most recommendations pointed out to Kali Restaurant. And they where right. The restaurant is very close to Kevin Supermarket, down the street. Usually all the tables are full but you can ask the waiters to keep you a table free as soon as it's possible (20 mins usually). The food is awesome! After eating to Kali for the first time we didn't feel the need to search for something new. I recommend "Ciorba de burta" with garlic and sour for connoisseurs (it's fantastic!!!).We loved also most of the food. We tried Chicken legs with garlic, Sovata Plates, hand made sausages, cow soup, bean soup boiled in bread, chees and polenta, Sarmale, chicken salad with garlic, ultra tasteful PapanaÅi (2 times a day), pancakes. The personnel is friendly, very polite and helpful. Of course you have to come with the same!We recommend, in the evening, to drink a shot of Quince Palinca. It has 48% alcohol, and will give you just the kind of relaxation you gonna need before going back to the hotel after a full day.If possible I would give Kali Restaurant 6 stars out of 5!Good job guys and see you next year :)
