This was recommended to me as the best restaurant in Petrich (together with "Detelina") and we were not disappointed at all. From the outside it looked unpretentious, but when we entered it was even a little bit posh... The prices were very, very reasonable - twice cheaper than in Sofia. For 10 EUR we were full to the biggest possible extent with wonderful variety of soups, main dishes and desserts. The restaurant name means "The bottom of the sea" and it offers a variety of fish, shrimps, squid and other seafood together with the classic dishes.

Very good meals and desserts. Delicious fried fish and pork meat, interesting salads at good prices. You should try the biscuit cake and the chocolate souffle.

Pour les fêtes d'avant fin d'année, nous nous sommes rendus en famille dans ce restaurant récent, tenu par un esthète.Les détails de la décoration étonnent, l'ensemble de la mise en scène surprend agréablement et ne peut que plaire.La carte est complété, sans déborder en choix, les produits frais et de qualité et le chef de cuisine les transforme avec élégance et savoir-faire. Ayant séjourné dans la ville de Petrich pendant 10 jours et testé bon nombre d'établissement, je ne peux recommander chaleureusement "La Carcade" en affirmant qu'il s'agit du meilleur restaurant de la région. Bon appétit

I trully recommend "Avalon" complexe in Petrich. I spend there 2 days last weekend with company and we definately will come back there soon. The best thing about the complexe is that you can go first in the restaurant and enjoy the traditionnal balkan cuisine, after that get a nice cocktail in the bar just nex door, and later go and party in discotheque which is also situated next door...And all this at a really fair price!!!!
