We ordered the local spare ribs dish and two kind of beer. Beer was excellent like in all place in Chez Republic. Spare ribs disappointing. Overall the place itself nice and this is the only reason for my 3 stars score.

we are staying at this lovely hotel and the breakfast is included so we had it this morning. we have to say it was one of the best buffet breakfasts we've had. okay, the eggs (sunny side up) and the potato pancakes, although quite good, could have been hotter. but the selection more than makes up for it - whatever suits your fancy is on the menu - breads, croissants, fruits, cheeses, Czech specialties, veggies, meats. it was superb. don't know if one can eat here without being a guest, but it would be worth it to find out.

Our group of 5 got seated to a more private corner. Very tasty food and large portions. Compared to other restaurants in the middle of the city, it had the best money-food value. For under 10 euros you get a huge main course that you wont be able to finish.

This place is in a cellar of the place called Becherplatz. On a Friday 6pm the place was quite busy but were given a table. The service was slow and not-so-warm, the food okay (and cheap) and the beers mediocre. Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) is not exactly known for beers so there are not that many beer places in town. They had 7 beers on tap (11° svetlý ležák, 12° polotmavý ležák, 13° tmavý speciál, 15° speciál, 12° pšenicné, 12° bylinkový speciál, 11° ovocný speciál). Somewhat kid friendly place.

You are truly dining with a superior chief who has the art of using fresh herbs, fruits, spices to enhance his high quality foods. The fennel salad lovely beginning with several unexpected lettuces, the crispy moist duck was placed on two types of warm sweet cabbage and a special treat (on the left) dumplings made with goose liver pate. Dessert was something creative the chef prepared. Apples and another fruit surrounding a gelatin accented with lots of cinnamon and cloves. See for yourself!

They were so nice with and they really appreciated the huge effort of my friend. We ordered three different dishes and they were all really tasty!

Easily found while strolling through Karlovy, this restaurant serves the most amazing food full of diversity and flavor. Whether you have the duck, pheasant, fish, quail or lamb- this is a first class dining experience for a very reasonable price. Service is exemplary too! Go and enjoy!!
