The food is good and served by 7 and 12 years old kids of the owners :-) A little bit slow service if crowded.

In the middle of the Rodophe mountains, right between the Devil's throat cave and Trigrad, you could find this nice restaurant called Horlog. After eating at about 10 restaurants in Bulgaria, I beleive this was one of the top 2.There is a wide dishes variety, every plate is better than the other. The prices are pretty cheap.The service was good, even though the only worker didn't know a word in English.

The staff does not speak any language but Bulgarian and this is the best part. Their children played around with balloons and shouted. The owners did not restrain them. The worst is yet to come. The dishes arrived in a sporadic manner, appetizers after main dishes, not at the same time for both of us. The food was HORRIBLE. Everything swam in fat and oil. The rice was soaked with fat. It was inedible. We left hungry.

At first we didn't feel welcomed and couldn't get a table outside, so we almost left, but thankfully we stayed for the super tasty food.Stewed veal was amazing. Price was very reasonable. For dinner for two we paid 44.00 and even had leftovers to take home.

We spent 3 nights in Devin, and ate at this restaurant every single evening. Really good food, very well priced, nice service and pleasant atmosphere. We tried many of the dishes on the menu, and all of them were incredibly tasty.
