We went to this hotel because Fletcher Events had arranged the Beatles Revival at, among others, this location. A lovely location, the whole place looks really authentic, the room was nice, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The buffet diner from the Duco restaurant, which also had a nice atmosphere, was only a tiny bit above average, nothing very special. Their breakfast was OK and the staff all over were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Great place in a great area.

Luxurious restaurant in a former convent which is also a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good ambiance. All main courses, contrary to the restaurant's plush surroundings, are rather simple and served on thick rustic wooden planks. This may be gimmicky but it is totally out of place and one expects this in completely different surroundings. Although the food is tasty, portions are minimal particularly when judged against the fairly high price. House wine expensive too. So, on balance my verdict is "poor".

Dropped in with the family for a quick dinner. It can and will get busy here during peak hours. They have take away but you can also sit indoor and outdoor. Food is pretty good. They do have more than just fries and snacks.

We had lunch here on a nice sunny day in April so we could sit on the outside patio. Lots of delicious choices on the menu and pricing is very reasonable. My wife enjoyed her "pannekoek" and my fish trio with eel, shrimp and smoked salmon was outstanding. A good place to eat without breaking the bank.

After a drink we decided to stay for dinner. The food was better than expected (because it is a brasserie and not a restaurant), and the service was very friendly, informing if everything was okay or if they could do anything for us. The atmosphere is relax. Only the prices are maybe a bit on the high side. I would reccommend it for couples or small groups.

In the centre of Deurne, you have this excellent restaurant. In the evening a view on the church in the spotlights. A nice couple running this place, personal attention, a good menu and good glass of wine. What more do you want when you are going out.

Na een forse wandeling zijn we bij 't Hofke gaan eten. Op de kaart stond kleine hapjes, maar ze zijn toch behoorlijk groot. De gerechten zijn prima. Het is wel geen culinaire top, maar een goede kwaliteit zeker na zo'n wandeling.We begonnen met resp. carpaccio en een kippenragoutbakje. Beide waren goed. de kippenragout relatief groot en misschien een beetje te zout.Vervolgens een lekker stoofpotje met frites en een aardappelgratin. Ook dit was best groot, maar het stoofpotje was niet verfijnd, maar gewoon lekker.Het dessert voor beiden was prima. De sabayon was weliswaar niet echt sabayon, maar werd een heerlijke kaneelsaus.De bediening was vriendelijk en goed. De huiswijn was prima.Kortom: een prima restaurant zeker voor de prijs.

De Kantine is an unexpected find in a small town - the quality of the cuisine is truly memorable, and worth going out of one's way for. The atmosphere of this pub is warm and inviting, with traditional touches to the decor in an overall setting that is consistent with up-to-date aesthetics. I much enjoyed the special beers that were on tap at the time of my visit, but the highlight without a doubt was one of the best club sandwiches I have had anywhere in the world. On all fronts - presentation, freshness of ingredients, subtlety of preparation, and clean, crisp constellation of delicious flavors - this sandwich was exceptional. Finally, the service at this establishment is welcoming and attentive, and an important part of a great overall experience. I cannot recommend de Kantine enough, and look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.
