If you like dutch fried and deep fried snacks this is the place. But many times they got your order wrong and long waiting times. Staff is not always that friendly but we keep coming back to this place.

We were taken to this delightful restaurant by Dutch friends. Maureen greeted us warmly and explained the menu that was in Dutch. The service was excellent as was the food. The amuse bouche that was brought to the drinks table set the scene for a delicious meal. Our waiter gave just the correct amount of attention and we left wanting to return again.

EXCELLENT even with the language barrier ?Although everyone apart from myself had lunch I was happy to have a slice of the cake I spotted on display in the glass cabinet. Very generous portion definitely wouldnât have finished it if Iâd had something before.Another two slices of cake ordered to share between the others after seeing what I had. This isnât just a coffee & cake shop, plenty of choice on the menu.Well worth a visit

The pancake house is located 5 KM outside the city centre of Valkenswaard, nearby Center Parcs 'De Kempervennen'. The restaurant has a big outdoor play area for the kids and a nice big terrace. The menu offers mainly pancakes, sweet and savory but there i
Stayed at Centerparcs but had looked for somewhere to eat outside and trip adviser had, justly as we found out, given a favourable impression.Stopped here with a big group, after a cycle locally, one afternoon. Service and food was superb and prices very reasonable. The group had a range from savoury to sweet pancakes and waffles.Re-visited again for an evening with same party and again had mix of savoury and sweet. Portions are very generous. We were a little past closing and owners had a busy day next day (due to Dutch Bank Holiday) rather than pressuring us to leave the head waiter/manager spent time telling us more about the history. This was the first place British troops stopped at , when crossing from Belgium into Holland, on their way to various confrontations. There is a war cemetery a few hundred metres away. He took the time to explain what is done still to commemorate by the local people. If you are staying at Centerparcs or staying locally anywhere else try to put this on your places to visit. I don't think you'd regret it. Thank you Rob for your kind words! Was great having you and we're looking forward to your next visit!Kind regards,MichielPannenkoekenhuis De Familie Suykerbuyck

The annual Ladies Dinner of my gentleman's discussion group was held in Restaurant Vandeijck. The old farm building has been tastefully transformed into a classy eating space. The multi-course culinary dinner with appropriate wines was of high quality. The portion sizes were rather small but for a group with an average age above seventy this was probably the right strategy. (Personally I left with a feeling that I could eat the dinner again!) The service was excellent.

De Hofkaemer in Bergeijk is a welcoming local restaurant which serves 80% local produce and has a menu that changes with the seasons. You can enjoy contemporary meals in an easy-going, homely atmosphere. The menu will tell you where the ingredients for yo
We visited with a large group and all had the Teuten menu. The owner is extremely helpful and told stories about the Teutens so it was a really positive experience. Also it was snowing when we arrived so going in to nice burning fires was really nice. The food concept is great, sourcing almost everything locally, the quality was good but I feel a chef should be able to do more with such wonderful produce. Also the idea of passing around a paper bag with the fries is not very practical for a large group and the amount is very small so you have to ask for more too often. Same goes for the salad and vegetables, it would be nicer if they were served on the plate. Thanks for your responce and that you were satisfied with the quality of the locally sourced ingredients. We have a cozy restaurant with a burning fire. Indeed we do serve the fries and salad separately because of the fact that if we serve all this in one time (or on the plate) we get back quite a lot of food. As you mentioned it is wonderful produce and it is not good to waste this. Also the new served fries are fresh made and hot. Next time we will ask earlier if the amount of fries and salads are sufficient (extra order is always free of charge).

We came for a short lunch with drinks from a tour through the forest. The waitress took all the time to make a talk about the place and what can be ordered. The food - lunch - came quickly and was delicious. This place is great for hikes through the forest or as a resting place when you take a trip on your bike or horse.

Perfect restaurant just a few minutes outside of Centre Parcs. Menu is mainly limited to pizza or pasta, but everything we ordered was good. Most importantly for us, almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free for my coeliac child. The kids loved the food but loved the play area even more. Hours of fun were had every evening!A large choice of delicious ice creams for only 1 Euro each!We ended up coming here every evening of our 3 night stay at centre Parcs.
