This place is just ok! Nothing special! This restaurant had a pretty high rating for a breakfast spot. We were looking forward to having some exceptional pancakes, but they were a little tough. The service was slow, and although it wasnât the waitresses fault she was trying to do her best, with little to no help. The owner was there but he was sitting with a customer chit chatting. I had asked the waitress for an extra plate so I could separate my eggs from my pancakes, however she did get busy and didnât return with the plate. The grits are the real thing and are delicious!!! The corn cakes with honey butter were also fabulous!!! Just all around really good Southern breakfast!!! And they open at 7. Donât have to wait for 8 or 830 like the other places. Staff friendly and the Motown music played in the kitchen kept my toes tapping. Love it!!!

Ordered breakfast and asked for pecan pancakes. No problem, but they charged $1.50 for the pecans PER PANCAKE. A $4.50 add on. Ridiculous.
