WEST CHESTER DINERFirst and last time there. Asked waitress what was good. She said Famous for their soup. Italian Wedding and Shrimp Corn Chowder were actually good but it ended there.Wife got hot roast beef with mashed potatoes; told cooked each day on premises and roast beef was sliced lunch meat. NOT GOODI had Nachos. Hamburger cooked in grease put on a plate with diced onion, tomatoes, jalapenos and covered with cheese then thrown in oven to cook vegetables. Topped with herrs round tortilla bites.Totally nasty.Daughter had chicken fingers and fries. Kids meal comes with a dessert. Chicken looked good but daughter wouldn't eat it. This is a staple of her diet...but wouldn't eat it.Waitress asked how meal was and I told her. Said I wouldn't suggest the food we were given. She said it's not the normal cook and apologized and wanted to know how to make it right. I declined and that us when she said my daughter gets a dessert (her and my wife were in bathroom) , they came back and 20 minutes later no waitress. Didnt even have anyone else walk by us.Waitress brought soup right away but then food came later then it should have. She made the place sound good but she failed as much as the food.Won't ever go backIt was that bad.

Typical breakfast fare but well prepared and the gang service is great. Fresh well prepared food and easy access to park. Tidy and small classic 1950 build with an extended back for the overload. I noticed people do wait probably because the food is great and price is right!

Went here after the gym (I know, undoing my hard work - I get it) and had a great breakfast. I ordered a side of scrapple that put the order over the top in terms of the quantity of food. I really didnât need the extra food, the portions are very generous (at least for breakfast). Iâll go back but next time just order the standard menu item without the extra. I recommend this place, you should give it a try.

We've been going here for many years. The prices are reasonable. It's comfort food, nothing fancy. The staff is friendly. You always feel welcomed. The omelets are particularly good. When we ask for well done home fries, They truly are. Desserts are awesome.

No frills corner store diner in a building with a classic interior from the speakeasy era. It could have been a drugstore or Five and Dime store. I was expecting a very good experience after reading some reviews, but it was just very average. The omelet was huge but everything was very bland and unseasoned, including the hash browns. The pancakes were definitely the best item. Great service and atmosphere, cheap prices, but horribly bland food and extremely thin coffee. I'd go back again once in a blue moon because it was so cheap, $25 for two of us including tip, but it's by no means a goto place for me.

This restaurant was absolutely wonderful!!! The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff was great!!! The food is reasonably priced.Perfect location near our hotel. You must have breakfast there.
