The foods are totally not Vietnamese foods, competed to original ones or even western modified in Europe. Not recommended for any one who looking for Vietnamese foods, itâll bring you totally wrong perception of Vietnamese foods. We ordered some traditional and got an awful Pho, their Thai foods also come in very bad quality.

We found this restaurant based on its reviews after quietly walking out of another place (we made the classic tourist mistake of going for location and not checking the reviews beforehand) and we were not disappointed. Great service, very friendly owner, a fabulous mushroom fondue (and that's saying something because we live in Haute Savoie and have our pick of good fondues) and lots of little extras, such as a tasty 'amuse bouche' before the main, and a real attentiveness to ensure that our young children were confortable at the table. Definitely one to revisit when we're next in Annecy!

The restaurant came highly recommended and certainly the location is impressive, and the service was verging on flashy with valets to park the car and all that sort of snazzy thing. But the food? Such a disappointment. In a party of five, four persons ordered the Friture de filets de Perchot & sa rouille maison, frites & salades 25⬠(Fried fillets of young perch with home-made garlic mayonnaise) and the fifth an entrecote steak with marrow jelly 38â¬. You would have thought the fish would be a speciality delivered with pride for a lake side restaurant. But great excitement and anticipation turned to dismay as we saw and tasted the food, which was stale, tasteless, and we felt simply pre-cooked and reheated. And of course we were left in the predicament of choosing whether or not to walk away and find an alternative place to eat on a Saturday night, or soldier on. Unwisely we chose to stay. The meals were stale; the fillets of young perch were masked in dry batter that you could not taste the fish. These had clearly been taken out of storage to be re-heated. The entrecote was requested 'au point' but was delivered medium / well done having no doubt also been taken out of storage to be re-heated.To be frank, we had only ourselves to blame for soldiering on..
