A diner is a diner - there are commonalities among them including menu. But this is one of the best examples of a good diner. The Bedford Street Diner operates with the smoothness you expect from one that's been around a long time with the same family. But it actually opened in 207 and good from the beginning. Michelle Obama visited in 2010, which gives it a bit of local cachet. But in the end it comes down to food and service, Both are excellent. Count on classic diner food done right. Tuna Melt, Bacon and egg sandwich, pancakes, omelets, quesadillas, burgers, pastrami, corned beef, gyros, Philly cheesesteaks. Deserts are excellent. A good place when you're hungry and looking for solid fare

We had a very enjoyable dinner. They offer a nice menu- appetizers, salads, breakfast all day, soup, entrees, sandwiches, burgers, drinks and desserts. I ordered an egg white omelet with vegetables and a side salad. It came with toast. It was a generous serving and very fresh and tasty. My husband had a bagel with lox and cream cheese. It was very fresh and had generous amount of lox. In addition we had very good service.

I have had several meals at Bull's Head but recently the quality standards have deteriorated. Some dishes are good, but others are no better than average. Maybe the cooks are not as well trained? Fast service, reasonable prices, & not many competitors in the Stamford CT market.

Had the pleasure of eating breakfast here while visiting family that lived in the area. Excellent breakfast and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They made you feel very welcome despite being very crowded. However, the best item on the menu is why every local regularly comes hereâtheir apple cider donuts!! I have had apple cider donuts in several states throughout the northeastâthis was the best! Not only that but they were warm and fresh out of the oven! If have to wait and you have the time to do so you wonât be disappointed.

Hudson Grille offers a menu with an entirely new dining experience in Stamford. Sophisticated cuisine, knowledgeable service, creativity and high energy. The restaurant itself is sleek and modern with an inviting bar offering extensive wine list, cocktail
Tried on business trip. Basically a bar with a good selection but not great beer selection and good wine choices. Hardly upscale. Incredibly LOUD so any meaningful conversation is impossible. Mostly young crowd late 20s and 30s. Not impressed. Dime a dozen. Nothing unique whatsoever about this place. Lame Club music after 9 or so.

We go to Lucky's at least once a month, sometimes more. The salads are the best we've had in Stamford, and the burgers are great. Lots of variety with the burgers--beef, salmon, veggie, Kobe beef, etc. Service is friendly and timely; outdoor eating area is wonderful in the summer months. Great place to go when the grandchildren visit.
