An American Diner with traditional values - family owned and operated. Open 24/7 365 days a year. Homemade comfort food - broad menu featuring Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Children's Menu. Full Service Bar.
Food - simply mediocre. Edible and probably nourishing, that's all. The waffle is supposed to be homemade, with homemade batter, I suppose, but why bother? Tastes the same as a waffle out of a box from the grocery store. Other meals served at our table were similarly forgettable. They know nothing about gluten. We were told, essentially, "you figure it out" and order something that you can tell is gluten free by reading the menu. The celiac diner in our party chose a salad, adding the instructions to leave out any crutons and any other type of bread. The salad was deliverd with crutons.Thank you so much for posting this review. This is a topic close to my heart since one of my own children has celiacs. I have found that most people, including our staff, don't fully understand celiac's or food allergies. That motivated me to write the "Dear Guests" insert regarding our policy for gluten free and allergies right in the menu.I will make your review the topic of a staff meeting to further educate our staff. I sincerely apologize, this type of behavior does not represent our policy in any way.

Excellent diner within walking distance of our hotel. Exactly what we craved after a very long day and sitting on the Merritt Pkwy for a ridiculously long time.Food, service, atmosphere all just wonderful. We could not have been more pleased. Too bad we had no room for dessert. We'll go back again just for this.

My first time here. Chosen by reviews. Laid back restaurant in the middle of a strip mall.Greeted immediately and given menu. The one negative with service was that I was three quarters of the way through breakfast before waitress came back to check on me. I had wanted ketchup for my meal but went without.Opted to get the Texas toast melt with sausage. Didn't even need salt and pepper. Very tasty.Wasn't impressed with home fries, thus the desire for ketchup.I would absolutely come again.

I couldn't find an individual restaurant web site.
Our work group meets here fairly regularly for breakfast. Itâs in a convenient location for all of us. Itâs a pretty average experience. Comfort food in large portions is the norm. Wait staff is cordial and accommodating to large groups. There were twelve of us so, we basically had most of the breakfast menu. No complaints no raves. Average prices. You will be full when you leave. An ordinary diner.
