With a different special every day and amazing variety, it is hard to choose to go anywhere else in Shelby. I enjoyed a Hamburger steak and three veggies. My wife and daughter got a vegetable plate. We all ate plenty of food and it was terrific. The service was amazing. Our waitress genuinely wanted us to enjoy our food and our experience. Actually gave her a hug before we left. I will go again....I encourage you to give this place a try!

Stopped by for a Saturday night supper. I had the Ribeye/ Shrimp special. The steak was cooked just how I like it medium rare. Seasoning was spot on. I did not have to add any sauce or salt. The staff were attentive to our needs. Another person with me ordered a vegetable plate. All were great. We will be back.

I am a Waffle House fan due it's consistency, but the Shelby, NC restaurant is probably the worse place I have ever eaten. After my last visit (this time I mean it) I should have called the Health Department. I was the only customer in the building around 1:00pm and I witnessed the cook behind the counter swatting flies on the bar counter light globes with an old timey swatter. Next here comes my waitress sweeping under the tables, including mine while I am eating. While this is plenty bad enough, my order got screwed up and it took forever to get my food because the waitress was sweeping and not paying attention. I highly recommend you just keep going east or west on Highway 74 to the next Waffle House.
