We just went to Donna's for the first time for my mother's 80th birthday. Seven us packed in (no reservation needed for a Sunday afternoon.) Yes, yes. 50's fans will get the décor although for some reason, there was no music come to think of it, so that may have been an ambiance kill for some folks. But why are we here? The food. The menu, which is fairly extensive left us agonizing over choices. It boasts cute names for the items. Burgers come in a smaller 1/4 lb size and a regular burger (1/3?) Plenty! I was the only one at the table who ordered a medium burger, so what were the chances with 6 other medium wells (don't judge) that mine would come out right? None. I got medium well. Meh. It was still flavorful, but they get dinged one for handling mine too long. Most impressive were the shakes; we had peanut butter chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, and chocolate coconut flavors. All of them were outstanding. The other stand out was the fries smothered in gravy. Nomnomnom. I would even opt out of the shake to eat more fries. Dinner was about 15 per person. Service was polite, smart, and efficient. This was a refreshing change of pace from chain burgers and restaurants. I will absolutely visit next time I am back to PA

My partner and I have been frequenting this little restaurant in downtown Sharon for several years--I just never got around to reviewing it. If you like hot dogs with chili, good chili, and really good fries, this is the place. They also have one or two "soups of the day" and they are also awesome. The wait staff has been there for almost forever; they are friendly and fast. The place is clean, bright, nicely decorated, and just a good homey atmosphere. The prices are more than reasonable, the quantities are more than adequate, and the experience is more than satisfying. There isn't much in downtown Sharon anymore--but this place is enough to entice you to drive there. You will not be sorry.

At first blush, I liked this spot. Nestled quietly on a suburban road, it looked quaint and inviting. The ambience was cozy and relaxing, and the wait staff cheerful, pleasant and helpful. I ordered a simple breakfast, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Iâll be back to sample the âman-holeâ sized pancakes! All in all a pleasant surprise and a new go to spot.

I stopped here for breakfast recently. Everything looked good. I ordered one of my favorite breakfasts; Corned Beef Hash and eggs over on top. It looked like canned. I love canned. It came well done blended with fresh peppers and white onions. Excellent! Two perfect over easy eggs complete the scene. My perennial complaint in the heartland is the rye toast is not right. But hey- I'm used to Levy's in New York. No complaints. I think I got a whole can of it. It was gigantic. Yum!
