Itâs a cold snowy day on Long Island. Itâs the perfect time for some chicken soup and a grilled cheese. I had a comfort lunch at the east bay diner. It hit the spot.

Lighthouse diner is excellent. Matt c has been my waiter here since 2010. Great experiences. Quality foods all the time even at 3am after a night at mulcahys before my ride home with Wantagh taxi and airport service. Lighthouse diner is the only game in town for me!

The service of American Waffle House is very good. The greeter and staff are very friendly. The food -- they serve breakfas-t and lunch-type foods -- is served in plentiful portions. The decor is nostalgic 1950s. The prices are reasonable.

We had dinner at the newly reopened âoriginalâ seaford palace diner and weâll have to wait for it to reopen again before we go back. The food was lousy, the service awful and the cheesecake was complete with hair. Really gross. A bus boy literally stuck his hand in my face removing dirty plates from the table and then dropped dood off some strangers plate in the middle of my fries. Speaking of my fries-despite asking for them to be extra crispy, they were half raw and greasy. When I asked for them to be fixed, I was handed a plate to put them on so they could be dropped back in the dryer-after having been in my plate!! I guess the cost of a handful of fries was too much to avoid putting food from someoneâs plate back in the fryer. Really gross! Is wair for yet another reopening if I were you. That place changes hands more than some people change underwear.
