Ate lunch around 12:30 on a Thursday. It was packed with locals and food was everywhere. We ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes gravy and green beans. Along with another dinner of chicken strips, fries and green beans. Salads with blue cheese dressing first. And coconut pie with big meringue last. And we may not eat for another couple of days. Everything was very tasty and we liked everything we tasted! They had Ruebens for a special and had run out. So they must have been really tasty! We would definitely eat there again for a full lunch when we arenât eating dinner that night! It is a local diner with a very friendly atmosphere and if you leave hungry it is your fault!

Stopped in on a whim and glad we did.My wife ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich...I started laughing when it was brought to the table because the steak was as big as the plate and had no idea how she was going to eat it. I had a hamburger steak served on Texas toast covered with fries and brown gravy, they were both really good and had to take some of both home. Would highly recommend.

Used to eat here for breakfast weekly with a friend. Breakfast was okay, quick, fairly cheap, but nothing outstanding except for Cindy, the waitress. Been awhile since I've eaten here but decided to give it a whirl for lunch one day around 11:00 when I was in town. Nothing fancy here. Leave your sport jacket in the car. Greeted by a raspy-voiced waitress who looked like she was born here and just came off her third or fourth smoke break of the morning. Menu on the wall had specials, some of which were crossed off. I immediately wished I had reviewed the latest health department inspection before eating, but I got a hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and iced tea. It was okay, but I won't wake up in the morning dreaming about it. There was one other waitress who was very pleasant, friendly and attentive and seemed to outclass this establishment. I wish this diner well. It's been around a long time and may have been much different in its heyday. Buena suerte mi amigo.
