Went on a Sunday, late morning. There was about a 30 minute wait to be seated, and few people turned away. Breakfast is served all day and lunch after 11:00. We had the diced ham and eggs, egg, has brown scramble, buckwheat pancakes that were light and fluffy, and good coffee. Smaller place than Sammamish Cafe, with friendly staff. Portions were big.Will be back again.

Hearty, old fashioned, good food. Great diner ambiance, friendly staff. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, all of it delicious. Have a bar as well. Great place to hang out for a slow breakfast (but you can get a quick one too!)

A great place for a lazy late weekend breakfast. Happily it was a short wait on this occasion but there are times you might wait 20-30 minutes for a table. After all these years they still produce consistently good food. Always love their home fries and biscuits with fresh raspberry jam. Great service too!

When I walked into XXX I already decided this would be a 5 star rating. The ambiance is amazing. When I took the first sip of root beer I thought for sure Iâd be dropping a 5 star rating on it. While we waited for our food there was so much culture and history on the walls and ceiling to talk about. We were enthralled!!Then the other shoe dropped .... the food. No bueno! My steak and mushroom cheesesteak was not a cheesesteak in any decade! It was shredded steak with cheddar cheese, onions & such and WHOLE mushrooms laid out on a two pound loaf of bread. Iâve met people with big hands and some with bigger mouths, but no human could possibly pick this monster up and eat it like a sandwich. I asked for a fork which was delivered after repeating the request some 10 minutes later. The bread was below average and the contents were not tasty. The fries were just OK, but they were hot.My wife could not begin to finish her burger. She said the meat was âgoodâ but was wiping off the âspecial sauceâ onto a napkin. Overall the environment was 5 stars. The food was 1 star. Service about 3 stars. Cost of our dinner after standard gratuity was $50 - cash as no plastic is accepted. Did I mention the root beer was delicious?
