Stopped in at the Old Country Coffee Shop for Lunch before arriving at my Brothers house. Really nice people here. Wife ordered a Fajita Salad and I a Pastrami Sandwich with Fries. When they brought out my Wifes Salad, it was Huge ... enough for 4 people, at least. But it didn't look like Fajita Meat ... you know, 'Steak' ... it was more of a Pulled BBQ'd Beef ... and this Salad is Huge. My Wife did not eat all of it because of the portion size ... Lots & Lots. I had some of the 'Fajita', and it was bland in taste and definitely not Fajita, tasted soft and mushy. The rest of the Salad was pretty good. My Pastrami was Very Lean and Tasty ... a good sandwich. I like my Pastrami sandwich thick with meat, this was not, but it was good. Willing to try something else next time we are up here.

This is a lovely little restaurant that we ran across in an area that has almost no information on your site. We had terrific burgers here on a snowy day while my daughter was shooting a movie nearby. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and offer a numb
We were running early for Big Bear so stopped in Green Valley to look around and decided to eat at The Malt Shoppe. It's a very small local place. There are some tables outside and inside as well as a counter. They do have a very small section that is a store for some basics. I had a hamburger and fries and I must say the french fries were probably the best we have had. They were hot and crunchy on the outside and cooked perfect on the inside. The rest of our food was fine but fries were great. We like to support the local places when we can. Don't expect anything fancy but the food is fine and the guy that was running it was very friendly.

My wife and I recently ate here for dinner and were amazed at the price and portion sizes the Cedar Malt Shop offered. I had the Pastrami Hamburger with fries and could not finish it. She had the cheeseburger, and brought half of it home. We didn't order a shake, but saw several that were ordered and they looked amazing. I'd highly recommend this place for families looking for great food at inexpensive prices.

During our recent visit to the Lake Arrowhead area we stopped in Bills Coffee Shop for a fantastic breakfast.Everything was cooked to perfection very fresh and the staff were very attentive. Its obviously a very popular spot with the locals and tourists alike. We arrived early and at first only a few people in restaurant but then it filled up real quick. For very good reason, definately a place for breakfast or lunch. Great service, great food, very friendly local eatery. Highly recommended.
