A wonderful peaceful spot at the shores of lovely Lake of Constance: - The staff is friendly and helpful, - the food is organic and tasty, - the winelist is OK - fortunately there are not only wines of the region to choose: they are not worth the price (probably as well a matter of taste :-) )- the rooms are clean and nicely furnished- the very old spa to rent: Do not miss it!

The «Urwaldhaus» in Rehetobel is something unique. It is a very old house, built in the 16th century. Since the reopening as a restaurant in spring 2005, we are serving food for hikers as well as for casual people.

If you want to experience a genuine piece of Swiss history then go and have a meal at this place. Amazing surroundings and great food. The house dates back to the 1550s and has been beautifully restored. Spotless dining room with great ambiance. The owner Nadja gave us a tour of the house, explained its history and our entire family was delighted by her friendly nature. We will definitely go back there next time we visit Switzerland. Fantastic to say the least.Thank you soon much for the nice Kompliment.....Es war ein wunderschön, euch kennen gelernt zu haben.....Immer wieder herzlich Willkommen....how knows....maybe next time in Perth

Wir waren auf dem Steinigen Tisch essen. Es hackt zwar noch ein bisschen, aber das Essen war sehr gut. Mein Sommersalat hatte eine sehr gute Salatsauce, aber ein bisschen zu wenig. Dafür war das Rindstartar sehr gut. Sowie auch das Kalbsbäckli mit Rotweinsauce waren sehr gut. Vor allem die Rotweinsauce. Auch die anderen am Tisch waren zufrieden mit dem Essen. Die Desserts waren auch gut. Ich hatte die Beerensuppe. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich.
