Original 1947 Silk City Diner serving home cooked meals and breakfast all day. We have seasonal outdoor seating and are located near Mt Monadnock, Cathedral of The Pines, Mt Watatic and Franklin Pierce University Rindge NH
What a jewel in the Monadnock region, save your appetite when your visiting the area, from breakfast, lunch or dinner the menu has alot to offer for that growling stomac, i found great servings with a fair price, the staff is busy but very friendly and quick with the food, plenty of parking front and back, handicapped friendly, the outdoor patio in season is a great place to relax and have your meal with a pleasant setting, for a mom and pop style restaurant this is a jewel worth traveling too!

We've stopped at the Hometown Cafe several times. Their hours accommodate breakfast and lunch until 2:00pm. Everything you see, pies, muffins, pastry, soups, and sandwiches are all made there. If you're looking for a good quick breakfast or lunch, this cafe is worth the stop. The prices are very reasonable.

This place is a gem. We had breakfast there last week while camping nearby and everything was delicious! I had banana pecan pancakes and they were TO DIE FOR! I also had Eggs Florentine - fresh sauteed spinach, yummy Bearnaise - homefries crispy and seasoned exquisitely. My husband's omelet was fluffy and cooked throughout with fresh vegetables. We brought takeout home (meatloaf, vegetable chili, desserts) and again - everything was homemade, fresh, and scrumptious. The rum cakes were lovely!Service was fine - we had friendly young server with a few missteps, but nothing to fuss over. The owner/chef is a sweetheart who really cares about his creations. This place is a game changer. I am seriously making next year's camping plans based on proximity to Cruisin 12 Diner!

Wasn't so impressed with the food. Dissappointed as it came with good reviews....nothing special. I might try it again next time I'm in Peterbourough.
