This is one of the best Black Bear Diners I've ever been to. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our server Chuck was awesome. Another server, Mark, was great too. It seems like they have excellent teamwork among the staff there and everyone helped to make sure their customers were happy. Our food was very good and it did not take forever to come out which was nice because we were starving! I will definitely come here again.

The wife and I went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, the place didn't look like much on the outside, but when you walk in its like being at your best friends. The deco is outstanding from the moving train, to the pictures, to the music. The food is outstanding and comes in a very large amount (there is no way to walk away hungry, almost everyone I saw to a to go bag) Staff was great.

Had lunch at the Airpark Cafe today. Seating available both outside (overlooking the runway at Benton Airport) or inside. The menu is large and appetizing with a huge selection of both hot & cold sandwiches, burgers, wraps & salads. Our waitress was sweet, attentive & eager to make our visit a pleasant one. My girlfriend had the Ortega burger with sweet potato fries...delicious to the last bite! I ordered the roast beef on sourdough sandwich served with fries. The fries were a tad on the cool side...but edible. The sandwich was great...lots of meat, jalapeños, tomato & a horseradish sauce that'll clear out your sinuses! If you don't want it hot, I suggest ordering the horseradish sauce on the side. As we are, small personal aircraft were landing. For those with kids, this would be a super restaurant to sit out on the deck and enjoy the action at the airport! I liked the entire vibe at this cute cafe and will return some day in the future.

This small restaurant on Hartnell Avenue in Redding features home cooked food and the cooks make very good food and large portions. The owner keeps the place and bathrooms clean and the cooking area presentable. The waitress is very cordial and the owner is very friendly as well. Parking spaces are limited and the hours are for breakfast and lunch. Because of limited seating, the service is pretty fast.

Everything really was great. I wouldn't say it is a 5 Star restaurant but as far as "diners" go this is the best. The were good options on the dinner menu and the soup of the day, clan chowder, was different than expected but surprisingly good. Service was also amazing.
