We were looking for a place to stop for lunch while traveling Hwy. 101 South. Suddenly a restaurant sign appeared next to a gas station right off the exit in Paso Robles. It was very busy and only one waitress was there, but she hustled to serve everyone quickly. I tried to order a French dip sandwich, but they were out of roast beef. Also, no other roast beef sandwiches either. I settled for a mushroom burger which was good and juicy, but the accompanying salad was just iceberg lettuce with a few beets on top. My husband had a California burger with avocado with their homemade potato chips which he loved. Will keep this place in mind when traveling from San Jose to Pismo Beach again.

Welcome to the 50's! Decorated like a "malt shop" you would have hung out in after school, and with a life-sized Elvis at the door to greet you, GTC provides the best burgers in town, along with great fries, shakes, and hot dogs. Near the Park Cinema, its a great place to stop either before or after a film, or any other time you're really craving a terrific burger that wasn't made two-hours ago!

Hard to judge the menu as we opted for the Senior's breakfast after our filling Thai dinner at Basil Thai, the night before. It was a good, classic (Eggs, potatoes and sausage or bacon) Senior's Breakfast, just the right amount!Service was good and I suspect the more elaborate breakfasts would be good too. It is a popular place!

It is so fun to know that this breakfast menu remains the same and offers huge, glorious, delicious egg dishes! The omelet comes with huge amounts of mushrooms and potatoes. Senior citizens can choose eggs any style for a great price! The is actually a destination meal as we drive from N. Calif to S. Calif. So nice tobe able to depend on it!
