It's not uncommon to see a line waiting for that delicious dog with chili. Not sure what or why or how they do it, but they really are good! A local favorite and people have been going for decades!
I ate here every day when I worked at the college. Good food, good portions, but service can be slow. Love the baked steak, Chicken Noodles are pretty good too but consistency can be a problem. Great burgers, breakfast all day, great homemade pies esp. chocolate if you love a deep chocolate flavor. Cheryl is a lot of fun to talk to.

Corner Cafe is in kind of a weird location - attached to a car dealership - but don't let that deter you. They have a spacious, but simple, dining area with plenty of booths and tables. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu has the typical fare of eggs, pancakes, etc. Coffee is hot, good and replenished frequently. If you are in the downtown area, Corner Cafe is well worth the stop for breakfast!

A short walk from the Blennerhassette.. Amazing home cooked meals, loved their hearty breakfast selections... If you find a book on their numerous shelves and like it... You can purchase it for .50 and the money goes to a local charity...

When we come into Parkersburg every couple years we always stop at the Omelet shop for breakfast. We've never been disappointed with the food...always tasty and large portions. The waitresses are friendly. Plenty of parking. Although they have been getting pretty busy, the food doesn't take too long to be served. We'll definitely continue to git the Omelet Shop every time we are in the area and highly recommend it for breakfast. We haven't eaten other than breakfast there, so we can't comment on other meals.

What if a big box store met a fast food chain? The offspring would be TEXAS ROADHOUSE. mass produced and seems no one there really cared. WHy do I feel like one of the cattle when I enter? The food is not really bad- but the experience is not at all conducive to enjoyable family time or a pleasant visit. I keep trying- but the place seems persistent in delivering a frustrating and bad experience.I repeat- the food is okay- even good sometimes (never great) but the sum total of the her them in, feed them in a rowdy way, move "em out.... maybe my money gets me a better experience somewhere else?

Was visiting Parkersburg on business looking for a place to eat. Was directed to Mary B's. Place was packed with two seats to spare at the counter. Sat down and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak dinner and Ribeye steak dinner. Sides were homemade and delicious. Chicken Fried Steak was excellent. Ribye was amazing and better than most you find at Steakhouse. Took two fresh made huge Cinnamon rolls home which were very good. Total bill $29 minus tip. Staff were very friendly. It was like sitting around your family table for dinner.
