I went back and forth between rating this a 3 or a 4. Judging only on food it would rate a solid 3. The overall experience and unique factor brings it up to a 4, though. The menu has some very unusual items but my non-adventurous eaters stuck with the basics. Maybe my opinion on the food might be different if we'd checked out some of the other choices. The burgers were fine but nothing special. The chili cheese fries were good. The chili itself was great actually, we just would have preferred real cheese rather than cheese sauce. We tried three flavors of shakes, peanut butter was the favorite. We also tried the Pusalow. So very sweet, but the kids loved it. It's a neat place to check out even if just for the historic backstory.

Passing through Palatka, we stopped at Lori's for lunch. Obviously, all locals here, and I know why .... food is tasty, and affordable. Ordered the 1/2 lb. cheeseburger, (made fresh daily) and a side of mustard greens ... delicious. My friend ordered the tuna melt, again tasty. Small family operation, and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

A group of us went for lunch today. The food was good, fresh and enjoyable. The shrimp lunch was good, as well as the burgers. But the real star is the homemade breads and the oh-my-goodness cinnamon rolls--so good! They're new and still having some growing pains, but they're worth checking out!

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
After being seated for nearly 10 minutes and not even having my order taken yet, there was a commotion at the other end of the restaurant where a waitress got a broom and swept something out from under one of the tables, then stomped on it, while a woman was trying to keep from totally freaking out. I decided to just leave.

My parents went down there to get fried green tomatoes and they were so disappointed. They had drove all the way down there from Palatka and they both are really old and they really shouldn't have driven that far with them being older but they had heard about this place having really good veg's and good fried green tomatoes. They said they would never go back down there because they cost to much and they weren't good.
