I was looking for something in Murray, Kentucky that had a variety. Iâve been to Cracker Barrel in Murray several times, no complaints, I just wanted something different. Iâd never heard of Rudyâs, but the reviews were great. I can honestly say the rave reviews do not do it justice. The place is over the top good! The catfish, chicken and dressing and fixinsâ weâre awesome! The servings are huge and the price is right! Add in great hometown service and desserts thatâll make your belly bulge, youâve got a winner! Iâd give Rudyâs 10 âs!

If you are traveling through the Murray area or are visiting/vacationing KY Lake, you MUST visit Renfro's HIH Burger Inn - a MUST eat in Murray, KY. Established in 1957, and still going strong with great, inexpensive food in an "old school" environment. HIH Burger is SO much more than burgers/sandwiches - open 5am-2pm Mon-Sat - breakfast is First Class, and Lunch meal are fabulous offering daily menu with GREAT "blue plate" specials @ $7.49. Enjoy. Hungry Bear was established in 1970, and continues to be THE BEST breakfast in Murray, KY. If you are at KY Lake, LBL, Paducah, Mayfield or visiting the Murray area, you MUST make/take the time to get to Hungry Bear and enjoy the fabulous breakfast offerings. This is where the "locals" eat! The Superman Breakfast is great for the hearty eater, but they have all of the standard breakfast meals. Everything is tasty, the portions are big and the prices are unbelievably low. Hungry Bear also makes perfect poached eggs, and offers nice, fresh, sliced tomatoes when in season. Enjoy. We always do!
