I go by this Tilly's Diner all the time and I have never stopped. Based on reviews, I decided to meet a friend and her grandkids there today. The wait staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The coffee was fresh and hot, my breakfast was piping hot and delicious. The diner was very clean. One of the kids did not eat her breakfast. The waitress noticed and offered to get her something different. I will certainly return!

The prices and the food canât be beaten. A hot open roast beef for $9? With a delicious side of mouth watering mashed potatoes and brown gravy, itâs undeniably the best thing on their menu. The soups are homemade and delicious. Nothing Iâve eaten has been average, only good and above. Service is spectacular. Keep it up!

I was pleasantly surprised at the meals my wife and I had here. While this is framed as a diner, the restaurant has an very nice modern appearance and food that is better than what I'm accustomed to getting in diners. The tableware is nice and there are cloth napkins.I had the soup of the day, tomato basil, and it was as good as any tomato basil soup I've had anywhere. I also had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and the large roll was great and the ingredients were very good, about as good a cheesesteak sandwich as I've had anywhere. My wife had the chili, and it was made with beef meat that was not hamburger, and better than average. Our fries were also better than average. But the service was a huge letdown. Our server was pleasant enough, but from our observations, clearly assigned to too many tables. When we arrived, the restaurant was less than half full and there were numerous empty, clean tables, yet we were given a pager and told that it would be 15 minutes before they could seat us. This clearly points to an understaffing situation. Enough servers would enable them to fill more tables and avoid inadequate service. Our server did not return at any time during our meal to offer refills of our beverages, which I needed. It took a while to obtain our check and process it. So, if you have time and patience, you will get a good meal here. But the inadequate staffing will be reflected in the quality of service you receive.
