This waffle house was surprisingly well kept (for the reputation that most waffle houses hold is not too great). The staff was very kind and prompt on making our food. The establishment seemed fairly clean, and there was really no complaints. The staff joked around and played with each-other, but didn't let that affect the quality of their food or service. I was very surprised and very satisfied to have such a good experience. I have loved waffle house since I was a little kid, and always think it's a shame when they aren't managed correctly.

Loved our breakfast yesterday at the Waffle House, right across from The Beach and the Microtel. Enjoyed everything we ordered, but especially the pecan waffles. I also really appreciate that they will give you a complimentary cup of coffee to go as you leave. That's a really nice touch.

The Mason Grill is a great place to get a "Local flavor" breakfast in Mason, Ohio. Lots of menu options. try the "Mudslide" a layered breakfast with home fries, two eggs, choice of breakfast meat with a biscuit on top, with gravy over the top. Nothing fancy.

First visit & last visit!Service was slow but food was very disappointing.Butter rum pancakes are absolutely gross.Vegetable omelette had very few veggies & no cheese Too many great places in Mason for breakfast for this place to survive. I'm sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience at our Cafe. Our service is usually top notch, so I too am disappointed that you did not receive the prompt, friendly service that every customer deserves. We do get mixed reviews on the Mango Butter Rum pancakes, as many people absolutely love them, but others think the syrup is too sweet. I always recommend to someone that has not tried them to request a sample first, which your server should have done, but we have established that your server was not on the ball that day. I also want to specifically apologize for the veggie omelette, as normally it has a plethora of veggies in it to ensure you get a good mix in every bite, but it seems our egg cook that day dropped the ball as well. That particular omelette gets goat cheese in it, which often mixes with the eggs when it melts, and since it's pale white in color, it blends in to where it looks like there is no cheese.Again, I don't blame you for not wanting to return after your experience, but should you change your mind, I assure you that next time you will not leave dissatisfied.
