I have brought everyone who has ever visited me here in East Tennessee. I have been here to many times to count. This last time I was a bit disappointed. My daughter came and I brought her here for the first time. Our waitress was slow and it took forever to get drinks. We were sat in the back and I dont think she noticed or was told. I ordered the Hog and it came way overcooked almost burnt. My daughter ordered fish and shrimp. The fish was soggy and under cooked. My daughter ate a small piece but it was yuk. By the time the waitress returned to check on us we had decided to go ahead and eat our dinners, all but the fish. Once we were contacted again the fish was taken and removed from our bill it was far to late to reorder it. I get places have bad nights, but it would appear the cooks in the back were not paying attention and the waitress, at least ours, was not paying attention. I will go back here, for sure, I have had many great experiences. But I am putting this one up, so maybe the owners can invite their friends in some night, to secret shop the place. Spend a little time with those cooks if needed your food is what is selling your restaurant. The decor is cool the video loops are cool but its your food that brings us back.We appreciate your feedback and have shared it with our management. We also tried to message you back, and if you donât mind would love to communicate with you there so that we can get a few more details. This will allow us to pin point which staff members will need some additional training. Thank you so much!

Our friends Norm and Linda did it again. While we are pretty good when it comes to trying different places to eat, they constantly put us to shame. This time, they took us to T.C.âs Grill in Maryville Tennessee for a late lunch. This restaurant occupies a former gas station and what was apparently a convenience store. Sure looks like a diner! We love to try diners! The dining room at T.C.âs Grill sure looks like a dinerâ¦except that it is much larger than would be typical of such an establishment. The other limiting factor is that although the menu is fairly extensive, it doesnât approach the wide range of selections usually offered in a diner. The pickle chips appetizer was a winner! Very tasty with a nice ranch style dipping sauce⦠Note: We only had a half order. ($3.50) The onion rings had been recommended by Norm and Linda and they requested a full order for the table. Laurie agreed that the onion rings were very nice⦠($6.99)Linda ordered a specialâ¦the Meat Loaf Dinner. It came with 2 sides. She liked her meal a lot and took some of it home for an upcoming lunch. I didnât record the price but most dinner entrees ranch from $11.99 to $14.99. I ordered the dinner portion of Country Style Fried Chicken with gravy. ($12.99) This was a huge meal! There were 2 hand-breaded chicken breasts, even more than I could eat a one sitting! The breading and gravy were very nicely seasonedâ¦plus T.C.âs had Tabasco on hand for the discerning diner. I had the second chicken breast for lunch a couple of days later.Having gorged on the onion rings, (I donât like onions so I didnât help reduce the stack), Norm simply followed up with a big bowl of Bean Soup. ($4.99) He was very content with his choice.Laurie thought about it for a bit and then went for one of her favorite sandwiches, the Patty Melt. ($9.79) She wasnât a happy camper. For one thing, her medium rare burger was under cooked and bloodyâ¦very unappetizing! But for the most part, our dinner at T.C.âs Grill was a positive experienceâ¦although Laurie would never order another patty melt there. Weâll go back in the not too distant future to try out other offerings, perhaps for breakfast. The large breakfast menu looked tempting.

Lem's Korner reopened month of Feb, 2019 after complete remodel inside and outside. Including Sunoco Gas and Diesel. Very neat and clean. By the way, the history of Lem's Korner goes back to 1961.They serve breakfast ssusage biscuit, hamburger, hot dogs, ice cream, on site baked goods, coffee, and sluhies with a couple nice tables and a small bar that sits next to a front window.Nice people run it, the bakery part is done by a friend of ours.It is located on Hwy 321 in a direction that is south of Maryville TN 4.5 miles from Hwy 411 intersection (note: but the Hwy is considered northbound direction).
