Stopped in for lunch - only a couple tables open. Good for folks and families of all ages. Good farm to table place that draws on local growers and merchants. Selection is varied, and good for meat lovers to vegans. Servings were more than ample. If you're through town, stop in; you'll be glad you did.

Craving fresh-never-frozen-burgers, premium sliced cheesesteaks piled high on steamed hoagies, and creamy frozen custard made in-house, right in front of you? You're in the right spot. Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries has brought a fresh, All-American diner
Dropped in for lunch on a whim for our first visit...and were not disappointed. The large burger size is very generous and the list of toppings is extensive. Fries were excellent and the tots were the best I've had, and both were plentiful enough for two people. The burgers were freshly prepared, loaded with toppings and more than enough to take care of a hungry diner. The milkshake we sampled was excellent, as well. Decor is retro and the dining area was spotless. Our server was friendly and prompt with refills. Kids get served in unique cardboard classic car trays. For a burger place, Hwy 55 gets a 5!

Well here I am, back at Sharon's Cafe! This is the first time I have ever written a second review of the same place and I had to wait a month to do it, but I am so only here to tell you about it. I went back to Sharon's for Breakfast after writing about our fabulous lunch, and "Oh Boy" Breakfast was even better. My goodness grapejucie! I had the eggs up with bacon, it came with Gritz, the best Home Fries in all the land, toast and a pancake. Both my lovely daughter and I shared, loved and devoured the one meal, and it was delicious.Throw in a great couple of cups of coffee, and I have no idea why anyone who lives in Marion would want to have breakfast anywhere else. The service was excellent as was the time last. I've already been back several times. As soon as I get back to Marion, I know where I want to go when I wake up with not an egg of my own. Pasqually "The Pizzaman.

So I have never been to a Waffle House before but I must say this was an amazing experience. This was the WH in Marion NC. It was very clean and well organized. Even the bathroom was super clean. Raven the hostess was so sweet and accommodating. She was organizing guests as they came in getting everyone seated and offering free cups of coffee to those waiting. Ginger the expediter was carefully and cheerfully orchestrating the line cooks. Occasionally making everyone there laugh with some jokes and funny comments. All the servers and line cooks were cheerfully working hard. Can't beat the $5 breakfasts. Again I've never been to a WH but their waffles are amazing. Don't know if all WH are as good as this one, but I hope so. This was a great breakfast and a great crew working there.
