The Bouchon des artistes, located in the heart of Lyon, behind the Place Guichard, is a small typical and cozy restaurant. We welcome you for lunch and dinner on weekdays to help you discover the Lyon specialties elaborated with finesse and elegance
Last night in France, so decided to try out one more Lyon Bouchon (this time Le Bouchon des Artistes). The Andouillette sounded so good on the English translation of the menu. However, the translation omitted the small fact that is was chopped up intestines which some seasoning. I managed a small mouthful, but then could not manage anymore without a natural instinct of reaching. The Andouillette was served with an excellent creamed potato. Service was excellent. The house wine â¬6 for Fillette (2 glasses) or â¬10 for pot (4 glasses) was excellent. The meal was finished with a nice barista coffee . The childrenâs menu was â¬9 (main course roast chicken with mashed potato and some vegetables). Anyhow, lesson learn: If not French, then avoid the Andouillette!

Simple food, interesting combinations. Ate here 3 times this week. Mushroom puree with beef to die for and interesting take on croque monsieur with home made bun. Friendly service, husband wife and son not all at the same time. Simple menu with 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts with 1 item changed per course per week.

Stopped in because it was the only place open so late, and it turned out to be an excellent meal. Staff were warm and friendly, didn't speak English but were very kind and patient with my struggling French. Food was outstanding, all three courses were top notch. The scallops with spiced apple was a particularly brilliant combination. Very casual, comfortable atmosphere.L'équipe de Chez Lucien est ravi de vous avoir fait passer un bon moment et vous remercie pour votre commentaire.à très vite sur La Croix rousse!

A greedy and generous cooking where the exotic products and the culinary know-how of elsewhere revisit the bases of the European kitchen. The proposed assortments invite you in the discovery and in the travel, with a quality cooking for the biggest pleasu
Had a three course meal with wine - the best came last which was wonderful. Was surprised with an amuse bouche which was delightful. Meat cooked to perfection and not too much in each dish to fill up but altogether I was happily in a food coma. Will definitely return!
