We had some Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings, which were decent appetizers, and BBQ Sauce was great. We also had two burgers, one Egg and Bacon burger with West Type fries and one Falafel Burger. The Falafel Burger (the patty) was not spiced as you would expect a falafel to be; to make things worse, it was soaked in oil. The Egg and Bacon burger and the fries were very tasty. Overall, itâs a nice change from the typical, commercial souvlaki but imo could be slightly better.

Look out over the sea as you feast on wonderful food. From freshly caught calamari to souvlaki, the food was delicious. Very family friendly and my toddler granddaughter loved the ice-cream, watermelon and rose she was given. It's intriguing and somewhat thrilling to see the top of the odd lorry going past as the taverna open dining area is on the first floor. Driftwood boats and lamps add to the laid-back, beach, holiday feel. Thanks for your review

This is a proper Greek 'mezedopolio' which means tapas restaurant. Avoid the obvious places along the promenade and go through the back alleys to find Antivaro. Very nice food, authentic cuisine and very reasonable prices. Try the sausage saganaki, the smoked mackerel and the gavros.
