This place is a delight! From Montana here and traveling I-5 heading south to Oxnard, we spent the night at the Best Western then stopped at Eddieâs for breakfast on our way back to the freeway. Our energetic, joyful, 51 yo waitress delivered our morning meal with a smile and the best Chicken Fried Steak my husband has ever had. We will definitely return on our next Pass through Los Banos.

I've eaten at one other Black Bear Diner, in Colorado Springs one year ago. When I saw a Black Bear in Los Banos, I was shocked, and happy at the same time!Went in for breakfast with family. Had eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, and grits. Wow, so much to eat, but I did! Loved it, and I when I return to Los Banos, CA., I'll be there again!

My husband and i love to visit this restaurant for weekend breakfast! We usually order a Loco Moco breakfast. Its not on the menu, but it should be.We especially like it the morning after a late night. It cures what ales you!Not low cal im sure, but worth it! It is a hamburger patty on a bed of rice smothered with brown gravy and an egg on top! Bam!Service is always great.
