We stopped for dinner while staying in the area. Stella's is a classic diner with a comprehensive menu. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was good and plentiful, and our drink glasses were never empty. The restrooms were clean as was the dining area. A solid choice if you are in the area.

Found by GPS close to Electronic Highway exit on the NYS Thruway. Family owned and popular with local community from what we observed. Simple fare, all well-prepared and served with efficiency. Bright, comfortable and clean dining areas and bathrooms. We sampled grilled cheese and ham sandwich, tuna salad sandwich (with nice amount of mayonnaise, not overly-saturated with it), pies, good coffee. We left well-fed and refreshed. Will definitely return on our next trip through the area. Note that this restaurant closes at 3 PM -- so breakfast and lunch only.

Came to Suzi's for breakfast. The corn beef hash was excellent. With eggs & italuan toast, a real winner. My wife had eggs, sausage patties and hash browns. Only dislike was the hash browns as they were flavorless. Very busy for a Thursday morning which is a good sign. Not alot of breakfast choices in the vicinity. Check this out on a Friday night in the summer and when the Syracuse Nationals are in town as there are lots of classic wheels on display.

The Best Breakfast & Lunch served all day every day. From Frettas to Philly Steak sangwiches. The most unique omlette and specialty burger menu anywhere. It's like cheers without the beer. Large quality portions. We encourage legal carry. We also encourag
Went for lunch at this little diner in Liverpool and had no idea it was a hotbed of rightwing attitudes. All I wanted was lunch. But, what was served up was the worst that the FOX channel could offer. The food: burger was pretty good. Large portion on a nice bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and cooked correctly: rare, just like I ordered. My wife had the 1/4 fretta and it covered 1/2 of the plate. Her complaint was that it was really a potato omelet without many eggs. Service was a little slow, but not so much that I would reject the restaurant for the delay. What I will reject this diner for is it promotion of rightwing causes. There were signs on the walls and elsewhere advocating that Obama be fired (I note that he is no longer president, but the sign remains), promotes guns and bibles, claims the NY State Safe Act is unconstitutional (although the Supreme Court refused to hear a challenge regarding its constitutionality), argue that the government and taxes are the problem, suggest that if you don't like America you should leave, make claims that they believe in the Constitution, flatly state that "Four Americans died, Hillary lied," encourage "prayer and grace," also encourage "legal carry on premise" (misspelling is courtesy of the restaurant), provides two televisions tuned to (what else?) FOX News and, of course, there was country music playing in the background.Had I taken a good look at the surroundings when I first walked in, I probably would have turned around and walked out. But, maybe it was just a joke?Nope! When the bill came (under $20--good price), the waitress said I could get a discount if I had a military background or belonged to the NRA!You have got to be kidding me!Nope. No joke. When one goes out to eat, there are several things that add up to an enjoyable meal: service, food, value and ambiance. Any one of these can critically affect one's overall evaluation of the experience. At the American Diner, I conclude that the food is good enough to warrant additional visits. But, when the restaurant uses the premises (correct spelling) to advance an ultra-conservative political agenda, then the owner should expect some patrons to be offended. I found the place to be offensive and will never set foot in this place again.Thank You for your time and opinions. This is why it's called the American Diner. You can agree to disagree and still be respected. Have a great day and God Bless!
Lakeview Diner is associated with Lakeview Bowling at the same address. I walked in at 11:00AM on a Thursday. The breakfast special was still listed on the board. I ordered eggs over easy, home fries, bacon, toast and coffee. I waited close to 15 minutes for my food, during which time I was served coffee without the availability of half and half. Waithelp was morose. When I received my order, the bacon was burned. No refills on the coffee were offered, and I had to ask for ketchup for the home fries, of which i got a very large helping. While I was there, another patron picked up the remote to the television and turned the volume up very high, so that it was impossible not to involve oneself with the show. I had to ask for my check, and as I was arranging my cash to pay for my meal, the waitress, busied herself clearing up my table, so that it was difficult to put my money on the table. I could not leave fast enough.
