We stopped here because we were hungry and in the area. We actually were looking for another diner in a different part of Route 61. We almost left because we didn't think they could handle our party of 10 including 4 children. They put tables together so we managed. There were no crayons or any other child amenities, and the wait was extremely long for our food which made it difficult with four young children. The menu is large so everyone found something to their liking. Our waitress was pleasant and got almost everything correct. I would recommend the Monte Crisco sandwich. It was delicious. The other food was very good and the portions were generous, especially for the prices. We were happy we stayed.
If you are from southeastern PA, you know that cheesesteaks are made on real long rolls (preferrably made by Amoroso's or similar) and not a vessel made of pizza dough. So when we walked into the diner and the had a sign saying you could get your cheese steak on an Amoroso roll - I was thrilled!! So delicious! Good fries, too. My partner had a tuna sandwich that was packed so full of delicious tuna, he had to bring half home for later! He had the salad bar as well and was super pleased with the offerings. We had a spacious booth that didn't squeeze us in half to sit in it and we didn't sink half way to the floor either. Comfortable. It is not a fancy place and probably could use some cosmetic upgrades but I couldn't focus on that while eating such good food in a peaceful place with wonderful service (Thank you Kayla). And when our bill came and it was so inexpensive - icing on the cake!!

This place seems to cater to senior citizens (I think we were the youngest people dining there). Great variety of food and reasonably priced. Greek salad was fresh and had delicious home made dressing. The meatloaf also tasted home made and was not full of fillers. And free dessert if youâre old enough to order from the senior menu!

Overall, this is a really nice diner. Traditional diner décor, including portable jukebox units in the booths. Ordered the meatloaf special, which included PA Dutch potato filling. I was able to substitute lettuce with hot bacon dressing for the soup that usually comes with the especial. Food was very good - warm, adequately portioned, and the butter pecan ice cream excellent.

We had dinner at Crossroads this evening. The prime rib was large and excellent, made to perfection. The shepherd's pie was delicious and the portion more than ample. Everything was served hot, the meal included a wonderful salad bar with homemade bread and 3 soups. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and pleasant and the surroundings are lovely and very, very clean.

Was there on a Saturday, noonish, the hubs decides to get breakfast which is offered all day. Swiss cheese Omelette was old rubber, toast was old and reheated on a grill, ( asked for rye, got white) asked for hash browns, got home fries, was offered fried onions and peppers with hash browns , never came with them then server came back after 5 min with more home fries with onions and peppers... sigh. My filling with gravy was very tasty as was the chicken quesadilla... will never come for breakfast that's for sure.

I got the soup and salad bar; so fresh and yummy. Soup was hot; peel shrimp was very good. Hubby got a blue plate lunch special; turkey and the fixings. He enjoyed that! This restaurant is super clean. Alexis was our server; she was super conscientious, pleasant and attentive! Highly recommend the Leesport Diner!! Will return the next time we are in the area.
