This review is for the Perkyâs Cafe by the Legends shopping center in KC, KS.We walked in and there were no customers in the cafe. Two employees were seated at one of the tables and they watched us come in and read the menu board but did not greet us. We wanted pancakes but those were not available. I thought about getting a pastry or muffin but when the staff continued to ignore us we decided to leave.As we got in our car they peeked out the front window to watch us. It was a weird experience. I have been looking forward to trying the Perkyâs Cafe in Basehor, I hope it is good.

Not sure why âno atmosphereâ given by the other reviewer lends to a 1-Star rating but they clearly have no idea what theyâre missing. Rossâs bar and grill has an amazing line up of burgers and other bar foods that keeps me coming back for more. Friendly staff willing to customize your order and a decent selection of all types of alcohol. Not sure what the other reviewer was looking for, you stopped at a bar in Leavenworth, not exactly a popping, clubbing town. This place is a nice hole in the wall joint with a small town feel. Love it!

This is a great place to get crumbly burgers that have taste. Add some french fries to this and you have a great meal. Don't take the burger out of the wrapper all at once or you'll have the burger all over the place. They have lots on the menu and it's always quick and easy service. A great historic local dine-in or drive-through.

The breakfast choices, the breakfast itself, and the service were excellent. More than enough in one meal to last most of the day. This is like stepping back into the 70's. I think the booth chairs have lost their springs! This place has no nonsense decor and is definitely reminiscent of the past. If you like good food and plenty of it, this is a stop you can make and not break the budget.

Family decided to stop and try it, since we drive by it all the time. I had the country fried steak platter with green beans (had no flavor) and mashed potatoes. My daughter had the classic Homer hamburger, which was okay. Her boyfriend had the catfish and said it was good. My husband the pork sandwich, I think lol what ever it was, it was good. It is a small dinner with lots of old Coke Cola décor. Waitress was very nice and on top of things.

A family restaurant since 1989. Serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Sort of like a diner which serves plain and simple, really good meals like you would get at home. Owners are nice and friendly and wait staff is great. I am in town for a long term training session and this has been my go to place for dinner. Have not tried them for breakfast. I would and will go back here many times while I am here.
