Sykes is a local trademark of the Kalispell area that was established in 1897! We're the home of the ten cent cup of coffee, and we make sure to say that loud and proud. Join us for a great atmosphere and some downhome cookin'.
The boyfriend and I recently had a late breakfast (1:00ish) at this family style restaurant in the heart of Kalispell. I love breakfast food all times of the day so I knew there would likely be something here that I would like. There was about a 20 minute wait upon our arrival. We were offered two seats at the bar (w no wait) or to wait for a table. We choose the bar seats. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the French toast with huckleberries and it was delicious! Again, just amazing and my mouth is watering just remembering it. I do not recall what my boyfriend ordered but it was likely a lunch/dinner selection and I know whatever he ordered he also liked. If you are in the area and enjoy trying local eats, I would recommend stopping in! Thanks for the positive recommendation and review! And thank you as well for taking the time to post in on Trip Advisor. We work hard to do things well here and it's nice to have it acknowledged.

I recently went in to Bojangles for breakfast with a friend. I was hoping for an omelet that had bacon but there was none on the menu. The waitress told me to order the turkey and pepper jack omelet and she could substitute bacon for turkey she also said she could substitute cheddar for pepper jack. She failed to mention there would be a charge to do so. If it would have been a small charge I would have understood. But when I received my check, she had charged me 3 dollars to switch to bacon from turkey and an additional 2 dollars to switch from pepper jack to cheddar. Bringing the cost of my omelet from 10 to 15 dollars. The food was okay but nothing really good. Their coffee is lousy. Service was poor, I'll never go back there.

My wife and I recently tried The Staggering Ox at Hutton Plaza - It recently opened and we wanted to give it a try; we were NOT disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was great. My wife had the Chernobyl Meltdown and I had the Headbanger's Hoagie - So much sandwich without all the bread (we had the Flatbread). Tasty, delicious, and a great value - the meal package is very similar in price to Subway but The Staggering Ox sandwich is over-the-top and just doesn't even compare. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
