We came here a few times for breakfast as we love the no frills, casual, diner-esque atmosphere served with the delicious and filling breakfast foods. Definitely not a place if you're looking for super service or fancy "brunch-ish" foods. I always found people to be friendly here (and we came with 2 toddlers!) though I'm not surprised some reviews found some to be rude. Just know going in that's part of the "charm" and you're going in for a quick, yummy, simple breakfast!

My wife and I have been going here for years and I've written a number of positive reviews about this edgy breakfast place. NO MORE! Went there last month and the place has really taken a downward turn, and that was before the storm. The cute banter has been replaced by snarls and poorly prepared food. My wife ordered her eggs medium, with no brown. They couldn't have been more 'browner". The home fries were both meager in portion and horrible to taste. Again, overcooked. At least the coffee is still goodThe couple next to us came on a hotel recommendation and they left most of their food. We spoke to them outside and gave suggestions for other breakfast locations. The empty parking lot should have given us a hint, it was usually packed.Again, we've been coming here for years, NEVER AGAIN!Again, for years we enjoyed the food and the banter, NEVER AGAIN!!

Big Bamboo Cafe is located on Hilton Head Island by the beach in Coligny Plaza. We serve lunch, dinner and have a great happy hour. We feature great food from across the country, conversation still flows as freely as the drinks and the lively sound of Big

We have been to Coligny Beach area many of times but never stopped in to eat at Gringo's. This was our first time. The staff was super friendly and easy going. The food was really good. My wife and me shared the BLT sandwich..awesome. My 2 yr old daughter had the waffles..so good! We sat outside and the staff came by often to check on us.We will definitely come back. If you are looking for something relatively quick and low key, then go here if you are in the area. We are happy that you stopped at Gringo's and you enjoyed your experience with us . Thank you for the positive feedback . We look forward to serving you again in the future !
