I'm here once a week meeting with a group of guys and after trying a number of breakfast places in Coeur d'Alene we ended up here. And a good choice at that. Lots of great breakfast choices and sometimes a bit too much to eat. The staff is very friendly and fun. Mainly a locals joint but all are welcome.

This is a highly rated diner in town, and we were looking forward to a really good breakfast. Plus, Guy Fieri has visited. My husband ordered the Loggerâs plate with a biscuit. Each of the meats, the ham, German sausage, pork sausage, and bacon were really delicious. All of them were juicy and tender. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs because the chicken fried steak is made fresh right there, and thatâs not the typical. The scrambled eggs were tasty and cooked well. The chicken fried steak was very thin and pretty dry. The gravy was just so thick and didnât add to the steak. The breakfast potatoes and biscuit were fresh but not remarkable.

A Northwest favorite since 1960. Our 26 locally owned Elmer's Restaurants take pride in their communities and source local, farm-fresh ingredients.
The service was quick and friendly. The fish and chips were good, fresh and crisp. Not a fan of the coleslaw more mayonnaise than I am use to.

We serve the freshest breakfast and lunch around! We bake our own biscuits, cinnamon rolls and pies from scratch, make our own sausage gravy, strawberry jam, chili, waffle and pancake batters and our corned beef is in-house slow braised for 10 hours. Our
We went out of our way on our trip to eat here because we are both corned beef hash aficionados and the reviews were glowing. The cinnamon roll and service were excellent. The hash was a disappointment. Basically potatoes and onions with shredded corn beef on top. I can't comment on the other dishes.

We met cousins at The Blue Plate for breakfast. Wow! They served the best cheese omelet I have ever eaten. It was absolutely superb! I couldn't eat the potatoes so they were for the next morning's breakfast! The toast was exceptionally good too especially with their home made jam! The service was great and the place was charming. It is a small cafe but well worth going to. The cousins who live in Coeur d'Alene eat there so often the waitresses know what they will order! That tells you it is good! We are from Oregon but hope to eat there again when visiting in the area.
