I stayed in Salem for 4 days and on my departing day I looked up breakfast/cheap places to eat on Trip Advisor. I wish I had gone to this place for breakfast the other mornings. I had 2 eggs over medium, home fires, 2 pieces of wheat toast and a huge piece of ham for $6.48. You can't get a better price for breakfast than this. Service was great and the food service was fast also. My waitress keep checking on me to see if there was anything I needed but didn't come by too often. I would definitely eat breakfast at this place if I was ever in Salem again. The other food servings I saw coming out looked large. I gave my waitress a larger tip than normal because of the prompt service and the reasonable prices of the food.

We go to this diner at least once a month. The food and staff are both good. I do wish they would add more variety to their menu as it is pretty basic. I would probably go more often if they did. The atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are average

Three of us had dinner here around 7:00 on a Sunday evening. There was a nice crowd and we were seated immediately. The place is decorated in a 50's diner motif with a nice soundtrack to match. Our server Laura was great. We placed our drink order and reviewed the extensive menu. They do serve off the breakfast menu all day as well as either the lunch or dinner menu at corresponding times. We ordered the ham & cheese omelet with hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast, the fish and chips and the grilled cheese and ham. All were served timely, hot and tasted great. Laura kept our drinks topped off. We had a few of the desert options and they were very good. For the quality and portion size the prices seemed reasonable. We will be back.

When you just have to have diner food, Mary Ann's is the place to go. It's decorated like the quintessential American diner, and the menu is really great. We usually opt for the usual eggs, toast, home fries, and either bacon or sausage. But you can get healthier fare if you want to. When election season rolls around, you'll often see a lot of famous politicians pop in to greet the diners, which is sort of fun. Just be aware that the parking can be an issue. But it's still worth a trip.

We serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. We have a friendly talented staff that makes every visit to us a special day!
We have had breakfast at Christina's several times and its just OK. Nothing has ever been really good or made me say oh lets go there...Hi,Sorry to hear that your experience is not more than OK. My wife, Susan, and I just acquired Christina's and are working to make changes to the experience and other things. We have the same staff as we love them -- they are the best. We have been bringing new and different specials and trying to mix it up on weekends. This past St. Pattie's day weekend we had all day Irish music, decorations, and hourly give-away gift cards. We think we have a great place to eat and enjoy comfort based meal as well as interesting specials. Check out our Facebook for the daily specials and some news on the place. Hope you come back and if you do please say hi to Susan, she is there every day. Regards, Tim
