We go to Theresa and Johnny's every Sunday morning without fail. It never disappoints. Although we have our favorites from the many omelet, pancake, and waffle options we sometimes spring for a special featuring the freshest seasonal fruit. Service is great. Atmosphere very homey. Lots of regulars are there week after week but there is always room for more folks.

Small breakfast place in downtown San Rafael. Long counter and cramped tables. Difficult conversation influenced by high-level chatter. Bacon and eggs, $11.00, over easy were very watery and uncooked. Potatoes were OK. Corn beef hash with poached eggs served with ham, $13.00. Fresh beef and nicely prepared poached eggs. Both meals were served cold.Good service. Nothing special.

We stopped in yesterday morning for breakfast after struggling to find anyplace open before 8am. The service is outstanding. Every person working there seemed genuinely happy to be there and were very attentive. Coffee is good with free refills. The omelette are huge and packed with filling. My husband loved the ham and cheese omelet and home fries.I opted for the Mexican scrambled eggs. It was hands down the best meal Iâve had since we arrived in California. It had peppers, spicy chorizo, scrambled eggs, salsa atop 3 corn tortillas with fresh avocado and sour cream. It was very tasty and the flavors mixed perfectly. They do have an assortment of huge croissants in a case by the checkout but we never tried them. We found on street parking out front but they do have a lot out back as well. I would definitely go back!
