We stopped here for a quick breakfast while on a road trip. The first thing we noticed was a line of people who clearly had been waiting a long time to pay their tabs. No one was at the register. Servers walked back and forth, ignoring the growing line.We waited a long time to be seated and were just about to walk out when a server showed up (no greeting), walked us to a booth, and told us someone would be with us soon. When the waitress finally arrived, she gave us placemats but no utensils, so I stirred my coffee with a straw. As we waited to place our order, we watched with growing concern as people around us sent their food back to the kitchen. One woman took a bite of her blueberry pancakes and discovered runny batter in the center. A man in back of us sent his order back twice and finally said he did not want to try a third time and was not paying for it.We became increasingly concerned about the quality of the food and decided to order items it would be hard to screw up. My husband ordered grits, I ordered grits and an English muffin, and our son ordered a Grand Slam with grits. As we waited for the food, I became aware that the floor under our table felt gravelly underfoot, as if it hadn't been swept for a long while. The waitress returned to say that the kitchen had run out of grits (at 10 a.m. on a Sunday). As soon as our food arrived, my husband very wisely paid the tab directly to the server to avoid the line at the register. There was ineptitude at every level, and no manager in sight.

Visited for breakfast. Very quaint interesting place. Good selection on the menu at reasonable prices. Dishes named after old cars. Huge portions as is the American way, but pretty tasty. Fascinating collection of old model cars and memorabilia. Pleasant staff.

We've ate at different Waffle House's around the country and this one was awful. Poor service!! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came with no cheese. When the waitress delivered the table behind ours food, I said excuse me and was ignored. So I make eye contact and wave her over and she walks the other way, the cook hears me say You've got to be kidding me and sends her over. She takes my food back and has cheese put on the burger and the cook brought it to my table, by this time my husband is almost done with his meal, was very disappointed in the service.

A rough little joint like many others on this strip. I did a bar tour and we stopped here twice. The prices were extremely good especially compared to where I come from. Insane the price so low for draft beer. Basically a place to drink more than eat I thought. Lively for the size and friendly.

Looked a bit old but decided to give it a try. Seemed to be for locals. Walked in and workers glanced up at us as we looked for table. No greeting, no friendly smile, nada. About 15 minutes went by and a waitress happened by to bring us water. Took our order. I ordered a chicken taco salad which wasn't at all what I envisioned. The bread bowl appeared to be a couple of baked tortillas hodge podged together. The chicken was in some kind of taco mixed and the presentation made me wonder if I should take a bit or not. It was edible and quenched my hunger, but I can't say I'd order it again. Left my had there but came back to look and no trace of it and they said they didn't have it with minimal effort of looking. Place could be great with some efforts on upgrades and service/food improvements.

We love the atmosphere in this diner. The waitresses are so friendly. The décor is so fiftyish. Fun to look at all the things on the wall. My favorite is the pork chop dinner. For the first time this time I had mac n cheese with pork chops, it was good. My husbands favorite is steak and eggs. He loves to go here as they serve breakfast all day! You won't be disappointed!
