We ate there with a a party of 4. Later that night myself and one other person out of our party got gastroenteritis and were sick with severe cramps, nausea and diarrhea. That meal was the only thing we both ate together all day, there was no other possible culprit. The illness lasted for days and forced me to postpone a planned vacation. I won't touch Indian food for the next 30 years, just the thought of it makes me sick now. Either the food at Sitara bad or the kitchen hygiene. Absolutely horrid. And we paid 25 Euros a plate for days of misery.

We have visited this country restaurant many times over the past few years and the food and service never varies - it is always excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming, with the owner looking after 'front of houses as well as serving at the tables.The menu is extensive and includes local specialities, meats, fish, salads and vegetarian options. There are about six desserts to choose from - all are delicious. The wines and beers menu is extensive and drinks are sensibly priced, as is the food.Great restaurant - thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food was fresh and tasty, the service very friendly. What more can one ask for? The restaurant belongs tot he Hotel Ganter, which we can only recommend for its outstanding cleniness and its perfect location if you want to visit Reichenau.

... im Biergarten. Liegt direkt an der Bahnlinie, wie der Name vermuten lässt. Stört aber kaum. Die Bedienung geschah prompt und freundlich.Das Essen, heute einmal vegetarisch, war schon etwas spezieller in der Zubereitung, aber es hat uns gut geschmeckt. Preislich nicht gerade am unteren Ende, aber alles machte einen frischen Eindruck. Wird vermutlich nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein.

This hotel is right on the lake and you can watch the sun go down. The Service is excellent and the food very good. A very wide selection of fish. The Fish Platter is worth trying bit you will need 2 big esters to finish it.

Very well prepared local food. Fish from Lake Constance. Kids loved the "Spätzle". A bit lengthy wait when it's busy, but that's normal. Beautiful outside seating if you can get it. Would definitely go back.

I'm afraid the owner put us off even trying the food. First he greeted us using the 'du' form of greeting, instead of the more polite 'Sie' form. Then when asked for the menu he was holding in his hand, he made some stupid joke, instead of just handing it to us. Thirdly he refused to let the lady l was with have a starter as her main course. So we up and left.
