Stopped here on the way to Orlando with my granddaughter. She calls me Nanna and thought eating at Nanny's Diner sounded cool. The service was good. They give the kids a rubber ducky which is cool. The prices were average. Nice cozy country vibe to the place. The problem was the food is just average. It's served on a paper plate which makes it even worse. Plastic utensils? These in my book are only used for picnics and camping. Not for eating out at a restaurant.

A stop on a trip south on Route 75 was not at all expected to be very satisfying. Wong!The two young men on duty at Country Skillit were attentive and genuinely sought to please.Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were flavorful and generously portioned. Broccoli was cooked very well. Coleslaw was sweet. The seafood platter, although a prepackaged frozen product, was nevertheless enjoyable.

Had high hopes about this place because of the building style and TripAdvisor sticker on entry door along with the great decor. Disappointment set in when 3 of the 4 dishes arrived and we waited a good few minutes before the easiest one showed up - a chicken Cesar salad.The chicken was really dry according to my daughter.My wife ordered a Ruben sandwich and arrived with tiny square slices of corned beef that looked to be pan fried and sprinkled inside of a sour kraut sandwich.The other plate was a cheese hamburger and fries which was ok, the French fries were good.My plate was hash with eggs over easy - nothing to brag about.The server wasnât personable or particularly friendly.Thank you for taking the trouble to provide a review for The Diner. So sorry that you had a bad experience with some of your food and service. We encourage customers to "flag" up any issues they may have when their food arrives so that we can rectify matters there and then. It would be useful to understand when you visited The Diner so that we may identify the server. Very sorry for your experience, this is not the norm, but would like to investigate this occurrence further. Thank you once again for your review.
