Sadly, time has taken a toll on this establishment. Changed substantially since dining there many years ago. Surrounding area is questionable at best and seems to have gotten worse. Outside and Inside of the building need considerable maintenance. Standard breakfast/lunch diner menu . They are not open for dinner. Very disappointed at lunch. Adequate , average burger, 'homemade' meatball sandwich which appeared to be meatloaf with red sauce. The breakfasts served around us however did look awesome. Sketchy parking in the back. Was afraid to park there. Anyone with any type of mobility problem is going to have a hard time parking and getting into the restaurant.

My dad loves to go to this restaurant for breakfast! He always gets the big breakfast. This includes 2eggs, homefries, 1pancake, choice of bacon or sausage, and toast for $6.99. I too love there breakfast but recently have started trying lunch items on the menu. Their cheeseburger and fries platter is delicious and reasonably priced at $7.99 and you get delicious coleslaw included. The waitress is extremely friendly and attentive. This is a nice place to enjoy a good meal without it being another chain restaurant!

Stopped for breakfast on July 4th as our regular place was closed. What a great find! We got there about 10 AM & the restaurant was half full. We left at 11AM & it was completely full as the locals really like this restaurant. We had a wide assortment of food including their delicious potato pancakes. This is important...they had good coffee. From reading the menu I think the place is a good diner with very reasonable prices for lunch & dinner. Our waitress was outstanding as she got our orders, coffee, & gave good recommendations about what most people like.I'm surprised the restaurant is not ranked higher but probably because it is a diner rather than a go out to eat on a special occasion place. Would I go back...definitely.

Unfortunately, we get disappointed every time we forget the last unhappy visit and come here again. This visit started with weak coffee, continued to disappoint with limited choice menu, and ended with biscuits so hard and stale they were impossible to cut through, even after soaking in gravy for five minutes. Prices are slightly lower and portions are slightly higher, so that's what must attract others. But quality always seems to be lower so be prepared for that. Not recommended. Sorry.

What a great little place that we went because of the great tripadvisor reviews. Lindsey, our waitress was great, very busy but still made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. Fun atmosphere, food was excellent and came out fast. Will be stopping again! Thank you.

Definitely recommend! My son started at PSU Behrend this fall (#WeAre) and so we are in Erie for parents weekend. Found this on Trip Advisor. From the most friendly service to the delicious food and coffee, this place deserves the great reviews it has gotten. I would never have tried the Greek sauce on my Feta Omlette if I hadnât read the reviews - but wow was it good. The home fries were crispy and delicious. My husband and daughter got the park dinor scrambler bowls and they were yummy goodness of all your favorite breakfast foods in one bowl. The rye toast actually had carroway seeds which you donât always get anymore. We also got a grilled cinnamon bun to share and it was the perfect sweet treat with all the savory dishes. Weâll be back! So glad you stopped in and good luck to your son at Penn State. We hope that you are able to stop in again and tell your son he and his friends are welcome any time. We make homemade soups during the week so tell him to like our Facebook page and if he sees a soup or special that sounds good, stop in. All the best. Becky and Rick
